Thank you everyone for supporting my business for the last 12 years. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and now it’s time for something new, though I’m not sure what that will be. I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas celebrating with your family and some as first time parents. All the very best for the new year.

Business update: I have sold all stock. I do have some fabric left to make bunny rugs, bibs, muslin wraps and burp cloths only. At this stage I’m not sure when this will be made and how I will be selling it off. I’ll update my page when I have further information.

It’s my final market on Sunday at Mornington Racecourse from 9-2. All prices have been heavily reduced. Cot quilts $80, stroller blankets $25, hooded towels $20, bunny rugs $15, bib and washer sets $10, burp cloths $8 and muslin wraps $5. There will be at least an additional 20% off the reduced price on Sunday. All stock must be cleared by the end of the day including samples. Come down and grab a bargain.

Final 2 markets ever these coming 2 weekends. Tomorrow I’ll be at Yarra Glen racecourse from 9-2 and next Sunday at Mornington Racecourse from 9-2. Products have been further reduced with onsite reductions. The aim is not to have anything left at the end of Mornington market next Sunday. I’m only stocking gender neutral designs with very little girl/boy designs left. Come and grab a bargain.

Tomorrow will be a beautiful day for Mornington twilight market from 3-8pm. I’m nearing the end and still reducing prices. Get a great deal on cot quilts now reduced from $150 to $80. Pictures below of designs still left. Can also be posted for $23 for up to 3 quilts. No holds. I have 3 of the grey Safari and 2 of the Australian animals.
I’m also able to take orders for 4 cushions. These are $40 each and can be posted for $11 each or pickup at December markets in Yarra Glen and Mornington. All prices are reduced from 35-75% off. Stock up and grab a bargain.

It’s the last market of October tomorrow. I’m at the beautiful Hanging Rock reserve market from 9-2. There are only 6 more markets left. Prices are heavily reduced. Muslin wraps $5, all single bibs $6 (limited amount left), burp cloths $8, bib and washer sets $10, bunny rugs $15, hooded towel sets$25, stroller blankets $30 and cot quilts $100. I also have enough product to make two more cushions.

Hi everyone, here’s my latest update. I’m busy using up all my fabrics as I wind up my business. I’ve just made my final batch of cot quilts/play mats. There will be no more and they have been reduced to $100 each to clear them out.

Once they’re sold, that’s it. These are available to purchase here or at upcoming markets. There are no holds, payment required immediately even if collecting from a market. Postage is $23 for 1-3 quilts.

The count down has begun. These will be the last 4 months of markets. All stock is reduced and some but not all will be replaced for the upcoming markets. I am only attending Mornington Market this Sunday 8th in September, however I’ll be doing a number of markets through out October and November and will then wind up with Yarra Glen and Mornington in December. Im not sure yet what the future of Sleepy Star will be, but I will definitely be taking a year off with no sewing.
If you love my products then the next few months are definitely the time to buy. There are lots of gender neutral designs if you wish to purchase and keep on hand for future births/gifts. I will still be making personalised cushions leading up to Christmas.
I would love to see you all if you can make it in and thank you for your patronage over the last 12 years.
I’ll keep the page updated with market dates over the next 4 months.

You’ll find me tomorrow at Mornington Racecourse market from 9-2. This will be my last market before the winter break. I will be back at markets in September where I will be selling off the rest of my stock until December.
Prices have been reduced up to 50%.
I am not planning any markets for 2025.

I’ve made the difficult decision to start winding up my business. I have enjoyed the ride but I’m finding it increasingly difficult to dedicate the time to sewing, sourcing fabrics and attending markets which seem to be in a decline. I still have enough fabric and product to finish out this year and possibly a little of next year. As fabrics sell out products will slowly disappear. At this stage I can still do personalised items but this will disappear fairly quickly.

I have reduced my prices so now is the time to get in and get some bargains. You can also order online by sending me a message here or call/text 0409163714.
