What's the strangest (and scariest) thing you have seen for wound or skin care?
Today I reviewed a person that had sellotape holding her socks up because she had cut them!! Then wanted me to keep the sellotape after I had removed it to use again!!

Hi Everyone,

Wow, what an incredible journey it has been. 15 years of learning, exploring and making friendships with so many wonderful Nurses and Midwives from all parts of Australia, New Zealand and across the globe. In this time we have held over 130 events spanning 6 continents and 51 countries. This has all been made possible due to your wonderful support, whether you have joined us on cruise conferences, study tours, subscribed to our news letter, mentioned us to your colleagues or liked a social media post, I would like to say thank you.

With your assistance, Education at Sea has always strived to provide community support on the ground in many of the countries that have been so welcoming and generous in sharing their knowledge. For this reason, I am excited to announce we will be holding a Non for Profit Study Tour of Cambodia in 2027 to coincide with our 15th anniversary. All event proceeds will be going directly to the following three charitable organisations.

You may be wondering why Cambodia?

In March 2020, when so many lives were disrupted, I was visiting Cambodia with my two 13 year old sons, and was unable to return to Australia for 18 months due to travel restrictions. Cambodia generously extended all visas indefinitely and offered free healthcare and treatment to all foreign visitors impacted by COVID-19. This is something we will be forever grateful for. One of the positives to come out of this was the opportunity to meet so many people and organisations doing great charitable work in the healthcare space. As such, this is our opportunity to give back, and we would love you to be apart of it.

Need some help here - can you answer why nurses put a non-adherent dressing onto a leaky leg underneath an absorbent one? Still baffles me particularly when the skin is macerated underneath!

Here's what happens when the dilution is too strong!!
Remember it should be pale pink in colour!
