Amber Trading is a story of travel, and discovery. My early visits to India began a journey across ancient landscapes, where the vibrant colours of Rajasthan made an imprint on my soul: as a block print on a piece of fabric. From mud-villages, ancient temples and soaring palaces; from spicy meals shared with warm-hearted families to drinks sipped on terraces of fabulous palace hotels, standing maj
estically over dusty towns. I am in awe at the variety India offers. I am humbled by the warmth of its people and humored by the inquisitiveness of its rickshaw drivers. The beauty of the handicrafts is what I want to share. I have been privileged to watch products being made and hand painted or sewn by the local craftsman. By supporting them I am hoping that their skills will be passed down to the next generation who will continue to support their families. My photos reflect the beauty of daily life in India. And my products will bring a touch of the exotic to you home.
