🍋 Got a citrus tree? Then listen up, it’s time to give it a feed!

Spring is here and your citrus are waking up and getting ready for another big season of growth, flowers & fruit.

Citrus are gross feeders, which means they like a good, substantial meal. For a good-sized lemon tree, we’re talking 1–2kg of fertiliser — not just a handful or two! 🌱 Use Fruit & Citrus Food (premium & organic).

For maximum flowering and fruiting, give them a good feed twice a year:
🌿 Early Spring
🍂 Early Autumn

And honestly, one of the things we love most about citrus is the blossom. Citrus and orange blossom smell absolutely sublime!

Evergreen, lush, beautifully fragrant & they give you delicious fruit… what’s not to love? Citrus really are the garden all-rounder!

Ready for tomato season? Because September says GO! 🍅

One of our favourites is ‘Sweet Bite’. Being closely related to a wild tomato, it’s an early bird when it comes to flowering and fruiting, so now is the time to get planting!

We love growing ours in pots because tomatoes like a good amount of sun & pots make it easy to move them into the perfect spot.

🌱 Fresh potting mix? Absolutely.
We recommend Tomato, Vegetable & Herb Potting Mix for a great start.

🌱 Plant a little deeper.
Tomatoes are one of the few plants that actually benefit from being planted deeper, helping them develop a stronger root system.

Get them in now and you could be picking your own tomatoes by late November or early December!

Tip: When doing this at home, please wear gloves.
