THIS WEEKS REPORT 20/8/2026:

THE MURRAY:
- Barry Stewart has been catching some nice yellas around Barham on worms and the odd one on bibless vibes.

THE WAKOOL:
- Cod are still on the bite taking lures along with some nice yellas which are taking worms & shrimp at Kyalite.

Hopefully the rains will stop and the sun comes out for the last week of the cod season = JC

THIS WEEKS REPORT 15/8/2026:

With the rains last weekend things have been quite but Josh Standen sent a message earlier to say that a mate landed 6 cod in the Wakool at Kyalite this morning,all caught on lures with the fish measuring between 64 & 80cm.

THIS WEEKS REPORT 6/8/2024:

Nothing to report this week but I am posting the fish Darren Sinapius caught in the Wakool River at Kyalite last weekend-with rain forecast for the next 4 days I don't expect to see to many about this weekend.

THIS WEEKS REPORT TAKE 2:

THE WAKOOL:
- Just had Josh Standen in the shop and he told me that one of his mates is currently fishing at Kyalite and has caught 4 cod in the 80's so far all on lures,so with 16 & 17 degs forecast this weekend why not head to Kyalite for the weekend.

THIS WEEKS REPORT 30/7/2026:

I'ts good to see the weather starting to improve with sunshine and some blue skys about,so hopefully the fishing reports will start to improve also.

THE WAKOOL:
- Young Hunter Sinapius out fished his old man early in the week landing a good size cod on a lure and Josh Standen said that some good size yellas have also been caught on shrimp & worms on a rising river.

THE EDWARD:
- A few fish have been caught in the Moulamein area in the past week using bardis,yabbies & worms.

THIS WEEKS REPORT 25/7/2026:

Another week of little or no reports hopefully the weather will start to improve as we head into august.

KANGAROO LAKE:
- Just had a local in who said the yellas are on the bite in the lake taking shrimp and if you struggle to find some,I still have tubs of frozen shrimp as well as some very small yabbies.

THIS WEEKS REPORT 17/7/2026:

Reports have been hard to come by lately with the cold weather and a high murray river which has peaked at 3.42mtrs and will start to drop back from today.

THE WAKOOL:
- Had a couple of blokes in yesterday who are camped at Stoney Crossing getting more bait and they said the yellas up to 56cm have been on the bite taking scrubworms and small yabbies,with them bagging out nearly every day.

# # # FISH TANK & STAND # # #

Fish tank measurments = 125cm long 61cm wide & 61cm deep,the heavy duty steel stand has the same measurements as the tank and is made from 5cm square steel with a wooden base on top-the tank alone cost me $150 to have it made.

The tank has been home to cod,yellabelly, redfin,large blue yabbies and it even had a dozen live marron in it at one stage = I have dropped the price from $700 to $500 ,so if anyone is interested contact me via this page or phone 0427 330407 JC

Another addition to this weeks report and photo with Jagger & Hurley Den Houting looking pretty pleased with themselves with a 60cm cod they caught at Moulamein on a bardi grub-well done boys!!
