I went to my first ENJO demo about 16 years ago, my 3rd baby was about 10 months and my husband and I had moved from Newcastle into a small 2 bed flat in Parramatta NSW. My sister in law invited me to a mutual friend’s demo and I said yes, well because... I just wanted to get out of the house really, it wouldn’t have mattered what it was, I was going! I generally have a rule, if I don’t have to or
ganise it, then yes, I’ll go... Anyway... so I went and saw the butter come off the bench with cold water and not be transferred onto the microwave when cleaning with the same green cloth, I saw the dust get actually picked up by the dust glove, and the steel reinforced etched glass in the shower (very 70’s) get wiped clean with just cold water and no scrubbing with the white glove. I came home and told my darling husband... “ummm, I am in LOVE” “Oh dear, here we go” was his reply. I held 5 demos (because the flat was so tiny and and every woman and her mother needed to be introduced to ENJO). I finally asked my ENJO consultant - “do you think that ENJO would mind if I joined them? Maybe?” I started my business shortly afterwards., and it honestly has been one of the best things I have done in my life. For my family it meant that my #2 daughter stopped having the sudden onset Asthma attacks that were being brought on by the chemicals that she would inhale every 2nd Saturday ( I had no idea that we had been putting her in harm’s way, I was just cleaning how I thought I should). My own asthma was reduced, and my eczema and psoriasis and cleared up, and the cleaning was done more frequently because I didn’t need to find a time when the kids weren’t around, and in fact they could help. It also meant that while my kids were young and my husband was studying our family could still have holidays, and trips to the zoo, good shoes, birthday parties and we could be generous with having people to stay, come over for meals or support other ministries that needed financial support. I have learned so much about actually looking after the environment in simple ways. Did you know that one bathroom glove replaces 26 bottles of chemicals? Not only the chemical going into the water ways, but also the plastic bottles from landfill. I am truly thankful that I know that all the people in the production chain of my cleaning products are treated well and are paid properly, with each room or household that I help to switch to ENJO, I know I am really making a difference in the lives of many people, not just the ones in front of me at a demonstration. For 6 years my business grew, I became a manager in the Sydney region for a while, made some life long friends, learned so much, had heaps of fun and then due to another house move, I decided to step down and became a VIP customer again. I went back into school work, retraining as a Chaplain and was working in various roles with high school students for a number of years. However circumstances changed again (I was pregnant - no not a surprise, yes the same father, don’t worry, everybody asks :) so I joined ENJO again. It was an easy decision, is work that I love, helping people find solutions to their cleaning problems (quicker, easier, cheaper, better results) with an amazing product from an ethical company ENJO is brave, honest and high value. Plus my little bubba could come with me and get cuddles from my lovely customers, while I taught them all about ENJO. I have run my ENJO business now from 7 different homes, in 2 different states in 2 stints over 10 years. I have helped reduce waste by actual tonnes, made some wonderful friends, gone on some amazing trips and continue to grow my ENJO family. I would love for you to join us, either as a customer or as an Enjopreneur yourself, who knows where the journey will take you? Get in touch, ask questions, I would love to help you find a solution that will work for you.
