Heading away these school holidays? Make sure you’re geared up and ready to fish.

While reports have been a little quiet lately, there have still been some good whiting being caught off the beaches.

Steve from our shop spent a few days up north in late August and came away with some quality whiting and thankfully, snapped a few photos to share with us.

The rig pictured is a special whiting rig that we make up and sell right here in the shop, designed specifically for targeting whiting from the beach.

If you’re heading out chasing whiting, come in and see us and we can get you set up with the right rig, bait and tackle.
