*About Me*
I am an Events and Festivals professional that also works in tertiary education. I like to stay active and busy, but I found that crochet and other craft activities were the perfect way for me to wind down at the end of the day. The Creative Quail is a 2020 lockdown/COVID project and an expression of my creativity. I am addicted to yarn and I spend almost every day working on creating something! All my items are unique handmade crochet products, made with love.
*FAQ*
Where does Quail come from? There are about 130 different species of quail around the world. Most have short tails and distinct face markings and some have a head plume (the little crest that curls forward on top of their heads). So what’s the fascination with that particular bird? My family home is on Quail Place, so I thought this was a great homage to where I grew up (we did have quails for a very very short time) and it also ties in nicely with my love for birds!
