Saturday shop, Wednesday takeaway. There's a fix for that.
Market produce doesn't have the head start supermarket stuff does. No wax, no cold chain, nothing holding it still. Which is the whole reason it tastes better, and also why it can look tired by midweek if you just shove it in the crisper and hope.
So this one's the storage stuff nobody tells you. Where the freshness actually goes (hint: it's the car park, not the fridge). Which things want water like a bunch of flowers. Which things should never see the inside of a fridge at all. And the one apple that's quietly ruining everything around it.
Save it for the next market morning. And if you've got a trick that's kept your coriander alive past Tuesday, we'd love to hear it!
