Happy New Year everyone!! I’m posting this from a much colder climate over here in London at the moment. These couple of photos popped up from our early days back when we were located upstairs inside the amazing converted Arnott’s biscuit factory warehouse. With a focus on Australian made and designed wares, it brought us so much pleasure to see customers fossick (and frolic) within our very ‘full’ space!

It’s been a while since I’ve been back to the Southern Highlands but I do love visiting this region during the cooler months. Some beaut places to check out include:

Farm to table restaurant which adjoins the Southern Highlands Regional Art Gallery (a fabulously converted dairy shed)

I was recommended to check out the Berkelouw Book Barn and can’t believe I haven’t found this place earlier! Stunning architecture, books and food located on beautiful grounds- what more can you ask for? The restaurant inside the barn was fully booked over the weekend but both the charcuterie and vegetarian boards next door were absolutely fabulous.

For antique lovers is sure to delight. Run by a lovely husband and wife team located within the former Bell gallery space in Berrima.

A few minutes walk away, stocks beautiful, natural, slow ethical clothing including locally made plus gorgeous knit apparel from Scotland.

Whilst in Berrima do pop by and say hi to Kathryn of .ceramics . A passionate educator and maker she will be offering clay workshops in the near future.

We had a wonderful meal at - a beautiful lifestyle store combined with cafe also offering great GF options.

Back in Bowral I always love popping into on B**g B**g street plus their newly opened cafe within the iconic emporium. Beautiful, natural body products and teas handmade with love. I also recommend their mushroom cacao drink on soy from their take away offerings.

What a mad house yesterday!! Thank you so much to all the ladies, two men and dogs who popped by to grab some p bargains or just to say hello! It was honestly wonderful to see so many familiar faces and I do apologise I couldn’t spend longer chatting with you all ❤️❤️❤️

This is a bit of an offshoot from Minty but quite a few of you design loving peeps were interested in our Passiv Haus build which was completed last year. This Sunday 4th May is Sustainable House day and over 150 homes will be open in Australia to those interested in wanting to learn more about super insulated, all electric, low VOC and more sustainable building options. We still have a few tickets left to purchase through the website until 5pm this arvo (search up NSW Canopy CLT House). Our fab Passive House architect Nina of will also be present to answer your design and material questions. So if you want to check out the most Minty-esque home in Sydney do pop by! All proceeds will go to a non for profit which aims to educate and increase awareness of more eco-friendly, healthier and sustainable building practices.
