Xanadu is about the people who complement us — not by being the same, but by bringing something completely their own.

Two figures, two colours, one composition. A study in connection, contrast and the energy created when we exist alongside someone who brings out the colour in us.

SOMEBODYS RAINBOW

This collection has been a long time coming. I thought, maternity leave = more time for art. That was very cute of me. At its heart, it’s about being somebody’s rainbow — being the person who brings a little colour, light and energy into someone else’s life.
I think becoming a mum this past year has influenced that more than I realised. There’s something pretty special about suddenly having this little person who sees you as their whole world, and thinking about all the people who have been that light for me throughout my own life.

After launching my first collection (all large scale works) and hearing so many of you saying “I wish I could own one, I just don’t have the space” I thought why not make this round more accessible for you guys. All the works are smaller, light weight and much more accessible.

I hope they can be a little rainbow in someone’s world.

Say hello to BORDEAUX

The first finished piece I’m sharing from my new collection “SOMEBODYS RAINBOW”

Bordeaux takes its name from the rich, deep red associated with Bordeaux w**e — a name that felt perfectly suited to this piece. It’s bold and earthy, but still soft, feminine and full of movement.

The collection is about the people who bring colour, light and energy into our lives — the people who become our rainbows. It’s also a reminder that you can embody that to someone else and that is such a special thing. I wanted these pieces to carry a little of that feeling into someone’s home.
