A little story about this mirror… 🤍

I was staying at this hotel for a conference and couldn’t find my mirror anywhere. I was convinced I’d forgotten to pack it. 😩

My first thought? Well… I guess I’m not wearing eyeliner or mascara today. 😂

Without that 7X magnification, this girl simply can’t do her eye makeup anymore. 👵🏻🤣

Thankfully, after turning my suitcase inside out, it finally appeared. Crisis averted. 😅

First-world problems? Absolutely. But it also made me realise just how much I’ve come to rely on a little magnification these days. Once you get used to actually seeing what you’re doing, it’s very hard to go back.

One question I’ve been getting over and over…

“When are the lip glosses coming back?” 🤍

The truth is, I could have brought back the old formula and you would have been happy. But I didn’t want to.

Instead, I wanted to create the very best version of the Melli lip gloss.

Over the past year, we’ve been refining the formula, approving and reiterating shade samples, making adjustments, and making sure every detail felt right. My goal wasn’t to reinvent it. It was to keep everything you loved while upgrading it for today.

The result? A formula that still feels unmistakably Melli… just better.

We’ll be launching with five shades. A mix of beautiful new shades… plus the return of ICON. Because if I didn’t include ICON in the very first production run, I’m pretty sure I’d never hear the end of it. 😂

We’re on track for a September launch, with the official date to be announced.

Thank you for sticking with me while we’ve taken the extra time to get these right. I truly believe they’re worth the wait, and I can’t wait for you to try them. 🤍

This was originally meant to be a one-off limited colour last year.
But after the messages, the DMs and the constant please bring burgundy back… we gave in.

Only this time… we couldn’t bring her back exactly the same.

We kept thinking… what if she felt even richer? Even more addictive to pull out of your bag?
