So where does WakeMate actually sit on your board?

This is the position we’re currently working with between the bindings.

Small. Central. Out of the way.

But putting it there is the easy bit.

The next job is proving the setup stays secure, doesn’t interfere with riding and gives us useful movement data when things get more physical.

Controlled testing next.
Water after that.

Would you ride with it here?

Your best set shouldn’t just turn into “yeah bro, that was sick.”

Maybe you’ve got a shaky phone clip. Maybe you remember what you landed. Maybe you don’t.

That’s the problem we’re trying to solve with WakeMate.

Not more tech to think about while you ride.

The goal is simple: finish your set, open the app and have something useful to look back on.

What did you actually do?
How did that set compare?
Are you actually progressing?

We haven’t proved that full loop yet.

That’s what this next phase is for.

Would you actually check your session after every set?

Be honest. What would we actually have to prove before you’d put WakeMate on your board?

Right now it connects, and we’re getting consistent raw sensor data.

Good start. But nowhere near enough.

Before we’d ask riders to use it, it needs to:
stay secure
stay out of the way
survive real riding
and give you numbers you actually trust

Controlled movement is next. Then we take it to the water.

What would you need to see us prove first? 👇

Tracking movement is one thing. Knowing what you actually landed is another. 👀

That’s one of the hardest things we’re working on with WakeMate.

360? Tantrum? Backroll? Stack? 😅

The goal isn’t to give you a bunch of sensor data.

It’s to finish a set, open WakeMate and actually see what you did.

What trick would you want WakeMate to learn first? 👇

July changed the question.

At the start of the month, we needed to prove WakeMate could connect.

Now the device connects and raw data is beginning to come through.

That’s progress, but it isn’t rider-ready yet.

Next, we need to surface the data in the app, understand what it’s telling us and prove it through real movement and water testing.

July moved us from connection to data.

August is where we start earning the proof.

What would you want us to prove first on the water?

A tracker is only useful if riders trust the numbers.

Speed, jump height, tricks, session stats — none of it matters if it feels off.

That’s why WakeMate testing is about more than just getting the device connected.

We need to prove the data makes sense.

What stat would you need to trust first?

09/07/2026

Connected is a big step.

But it’s not the finish line.

For WakeMate to actually matter to riders, it needs to capture the right data, stay stable, make sense in the app and eventually prove itself on the water.

That’s why raw data is the next big milestone.

July is about proof.

Not hype.

What would you want us to test first?

25/06/2026

Before WakeMate gets anywhere near the water, we need to prove it actually works for riders.

Connection.
App flow.
Data capture.
Setup.
Mounting.

Because riders don’t need another cool idea.

They need something simple, secure and useful when the session starts.

What would you want us to test before you trusted it on your board?
