RJ Customs was started by Sydney luthier Richard J Greenup in 2007
His experience with the restoration and repair of the double bass honed his hand skills and gave him a detailed understanding of the craft of instrument making. A bass enthusiast he pushed his skills acquired as the owner of the bass shop into the world of custom made electric basses and Uprights.

Specs
33" scale 6 string.
27 nickel frets.
17mm string spacing.
Single cut body shape.
Zirecote bookmatched top and head stock caps.
Black limba body with flame maple veneers.
Ebony fingerboard.
Mother of pearl logo and markers.
dual coils with series single parallel switches on each.
2012 3band pre amp.
hardware.
Custom k***s made in house.
Satin finish.
