Well, there’s a bit more to it than just getting a trim tool behind the edge

We’ve filmed a quick guide on removing and deactivating the factory top LCD clock on a Holden Commodore VE Series 1 (2008), including a few things worth knowing before you start pulling the dash apart

No sales pitch - just a workshop tip for anyone working on their own Commodore or tackling a stereo/interior upgrade

"Program cannot be read, please consult the dealer"

Instead of putting up with a dead or unreliable factory setup, this 2012 Prado Altitude 150 was given a proper refresh

🔧We fixed the original issue and upgraded the centre display to Apple CarPlay, giving the cabin a much more useful setup for everyday driving

We know plenty of Prado owners keep these cars for years, so sometimes the answer isn't replacing the car - it's simply fixing what no longer works and bringing a little modern tech into the cabin

Ever wondered where all the reverse camera wiring actually goes? 👀🔧

Fitting the camera itself is only part of the job. Running the cable neatly through the car is where things can get a little more interesting

We've put together a video showing our approach to running the reverse camera wiring harness on a 2012 SUZUKI SWIFT, including a few practical things worth considering when routing cables through the cabin

It’s not a step-by-step beginner tutorial - more of a look at the process and some useful tips for anyone who already has a bit of experience working on cars

There's a lot more going on behind a Hino dash than most people realise 👀

These photos were taken during a GPS/Sat Nav sensor installation on a 2012 Hino 300 617 🚛

We decided to film the process because sometimes the most useful part of an install isn’t the finished product - it’s knowing what to look out for before you start pulling things apart

Fitted this 2019 Hilux SR5 Dual Cab with a soft open/close tailgate kit. No more one-handed wrestling to lift it, no more that heavy clang when it drops shut

Mounts straight onto the factory points - nothing cut, nothing modified. Just a gas strut doing the heavy lifting so the tailgate opens and closes smooth, every time

🚗 2003 Corolla, still going strong - just got a proper tech refresh

Fitted this Corolla with a 7" wireless Apple CarPlay screen and a built-in DVR dashcam. Maps, calls, music, all wireless - plus footage running the whole time in case anything ever happens on the road

These older Corollas just don't die, and there's actually a plug-and-play kit for this exact model, so the whole install goes in clean without cutting into the factory dash🛠️

If you're still running one of these (or know someone who is), it's worth knowing the option's there
