Dryer's running but the clothes come out damp.
After a winter of solid use, this is the most common dryer fault we see, and it's almost always the heating element. The drum keeps turning, the fan keeps blowing, but there's no heat behind it.
On most Simpson, Fisher & Paykel and Electrolux dryers it's a straightforward swap.
Twenty minutes, a screwdriver, and a multimeter to confirm the element's actually the problem before you order anything.
Worth checking the thermostat at the same time, they often go together.
Send us your model number and we'll tell you exactly which element fits. It's on the compliance plate, usually inside the door or on the back.
