Team Tuesday with Anne!

Meet Anne outside the office.

Bonjour! Outside of work, Anne has a love of French language and culture. She does an amazing job teaching children the French language.

From learning French to enjoying delicious French food (yes... that baguette looked too good to resist! 🥖), she enjoys exploring everything France has to offer. I wonder what other languages Anne also speaks? You can ask her when you next come for your appointment.

🇫🇷 If you could visit one country tomorrow, where would you choose?

A huge thank you to Jen!

Today was Jen’s last day at the practice. We are sad that Jen is leaving us, but so excited for new possibilities. Jen is working with different clients in her new clinic to complete her final requirements for her Clinical Masters program.

Jen is an incredible Psychologist who has made such a big impact on the lives of so many of her clients. It has been a privilege to work with Jen, who is so warm, kind, thoughtful and incredibly hard-working, always finding new and creative ways to help.

Jen, we wish you all the very best with the next chapter of your journey. You are awesome!

Being a parent can sometimes feel like being lost in a maze. So many decisions and concerns to address.

Do you sometimes feel lost about what to do? Wondering if something you are concerned about is really a concern? Not sure who to ask or which therapy or professional might help?

Psychology is not only just about therapy. We also help parents navigate decisions about their children's development. We can help by providing guidance to parents who feel lost about which professional can help.

We can help you step out of the maze and feel like you have clarity and a plan. We can see you by Telehealth or in-person.

Team Tuesday with Shuv!

Meet Shuv outside the therapy room.

When she's not supporting children and families, you'll often find Shuv with a good book in hand.

Whether it's learning something new or simply enjoying a quiet moment, reading is one of the ways she relaxes and recharges.

📖 What's the best book you've read recently? We'd love to hear your recommendations!

THERAPY THURSDAY: Children communicating while drawing

Some children communicate better while drawing.

For some children, sitting face-to-face and talking can feel overwhelming. Drawing alongside a therapist can reduce pressure and help thoughts and feelings flow more naturally.

Often, children begin sharing important experiences while their hands are busy creating. Sometimes their drawings are also important to express what it's like for them.

If you would like to find out more about how we can help your child or adolescent, please make contact. There are so many ways we can help.

Team Tuesday with Aya!

Meet Aya outside the therapy room.

Outside of work, Aya enjoys relaxing with video games.

Gaming can be a fantastic way to unwind, challenge your brain and connect with friends—something many of the young people we work with also enjoy talking about!

🎮 What's your favourite game to play?

Fun Friday: About the Wow! Factor

We work hard to create the Wow! Factor here at the practice.

It's the little things that matter in all our rooms. One of the favourite things in our waiting room is our beautiful aquarium. We've lost count how many children (and adults!) stop to watch the fish while they wait.

It's such a great ice-breaker for children who feel nervous about coming for the first time. You would be amazed about the different names our fish have! And the stories children create about the fish.

Watching fish swim quietly can be surprisingly calming, giving everyone a chance to slow down before their appointment. Parents who wait for their child in their appointment also tell us how much they love watching the fish.

What do you love about coming to our practice?
