Ever noticed how some days you walk out the door feeling like you can take on the world?

Not because you’re wearing a designer outfit.
Not because you’re heading somewhere special.
Not because you’ve spent hours getting ready.

Sometimes it’s something as simple as a fresh haircut, clothes that fit properly, or colours that make you feel more like yourself.

That’s the part of personal styling people don’t talk about enough.

It’s not just about the clothes.

It’s about confidence.
It’s about feeling comfortable in your own skin.
It’s about walking into a room without second-guessing yourself.

Wouldn’t you agree that when you feel good, you show up differently? I know I do.

What is the one thing that instantly makes you feel good when you start your day?
👇🏼I’d love to hear from you in the comments.

Who said I can’t cook? 😉

I can… but helping women build wardrobes they love will always be my favourite thing to create. ✨ .official 💝

✨ What I Tell My Clients 💬

Before you decide your winter wardrobe needs an update, ask yourself one question...

**Have I simply fallen into wearing the same outfit combinations?** 🤔

Winter has a way of making us reach for the same knit, the same jeans and the same coat on repeat. It’s no wonder our wardrobes start to feel uninspiring. 🥱

The good news? You don’t always need more clothes, you often just need fresh combinations.

A different layer. A different shoe. A different proportion. Small styling changes can completely transform pieces you’ve owned for years.

One of the first things I encourage my clients to do is shop their own wardrobe before they shop the stores. More often than not, they’re surprised by how many new outfits we can create from what they already have.

✨ Before buying something new this winter, challenge yourself to create **three outfits you’ve never worn before** using the clothes already hanging in your wardrobe.

I’d love to know... what’s the one winter piece you wear on repeat every year?

✨ Wardrobe Wisdom

The most expensive item in your wardrobe isn’t necessarily the one with the highest price tag.

It’s the piece you never wear.

As a personal stylist, I see this all the time during wardrobe edits.

A beautiful dress bought for an event that never came.
A jacket that felt like a great idea in the fitting room.
A pair of shoes that looked amazing but never felt quite right.

Whether it cost $50 or $500, if it sits in your wardrobe unworn, it’s not delivering value.

The pieces worth investing in are the ones that earn their place in your wardrobe week after week.

The jeans you live in. 🩷
The coat you reach for every winter.🧡
The knit that works with everything.🩵

When shopping, try shifting the question from:

“Do I like this?”

to

“Will I genuinely wear this?”

That’s often the difference between a wardrobe full of clothes and a wardrobe that works.

The biggest change in my wardrobe isn’t the clothes but the way I shop nowadays.

I’ve been slowly changing my wardrobe for years.

Not because I needed a whole new wardrobe.

Not because I stopped liking what I already owned.

The biggest change has actually been my mindset.

These days, before I buy something, I ask different questions.

Like:
• What is it made from?
• How will it wear over time?
• Who made it?
• Will I still love it in five years?

I’m less interested in buying more and much more interested in buying better.

For me, style isn’t about constantly replacing everything you own. It’s about building a wardrobe that evolves with you, one thoughtful purchase at a time.

I’d love to know, has the way you shop changed over the years?

✨ Wardrobe Wisdom

“I have a wardrobe full of clothes but nothing to wear.”

It’s one of the most common frustrations I hear from women during wardrobe edits and personal styling sessions.

The problem usually isn’t a lack of clothes.

The problem is a lack of outfits.

Many women shop for individual pieces because they love them in the moment, but when they get home, they don’t work with enough of what’s already in their wardrobe to create different outfits.

Before buying something new, ask yourself:

Can I wear this at least three different ways with clothes I already own?

If the answer is no, it might not be the missing piece you think it is.

Building a functional wardrobe isn’t about owning more.

It’s about owning pieces that work together.

That’s how you create more outfit options without constantly shopping.

👇🏼 What’s one item sitting in your wardrobe that you’ve never quite figured out how to wear?

One of the biggest lessons from every wardrobe edit I do as a personal stylist is this:

Before you buy anything new this winter, start with what you already own.

Pull out the pieces you genuinely love wearing. The pieces that make you feel good, suit your lifestyle and are on constant rotation.

Lay them out and look at them as a collection.

What do they have in common?

More importantly, what’s missing?

Do you need more tops to work with your favourite pants?
A better winter coat?
Versatile shoes?
Accessories that help create more outfits?

The pieces you wear most are already showing you what works.

The gaps are showing you where to invest next.

When you shop this way, you stop buying random pieces and start building a wardrobe that actually works together.

If you like these tips 📌 save this for when it’s time to edit your wardrobe.

👇🏼Tell me the one item you’re searching for this winter and I’ll reply with a styling suggestion.
