It’s taken some while to organise, but I can finally confirm the funeral service for Jacqueline (Reds) Bobb-McLeod celebrating her life will take place on Tuesday 9 June 2026 at 1:30pm AEST at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2 Richard Porter Way, Pymble, New South Wales. Australia.

Following the service, please join us in the prayer room for light refreshments to celebrate and share memories of Jackie’s life.

Our celebrant will be Fr Gerard Woo Ling. Fr Gerard is the Parish Priest & Administrator of St Thomas of Canterbury in Lewisham (the second oldest church in Sydney), and St Patrick Church in Summer Hill.

Fr Gerard was born in Trinidad and Tobago; I attended his ordination in August2017!

It is with regret I inform the recent passing of my sister-in-law Jacqueline (Jackie) Bobb McLeod.

Jackie was a much loved member among the Caribbean community in Sydney Australia who will be sadly missed by many.

I first met Jackie in Trinidad before 1984 with my late brother John McLeod, before they were married.

Jackie was a private person and had health issues which she sadly succumbed to on last Saturday evening 9th May 2026.

In August 1999, I met Jackie again and came to know her and their two young sons after they followed my brother John to Australia.

Jackie is survived by their sons Julian and John Roy.

She is also survived by her family and friends in Trinidad and Tobago and in particular her sister Beverly, currently visiting from Trinidad.

During this time of grief, I would ask that you keep Jackie’s family and in particular her two sons in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you to all those who have sent their prayers and Many of you have enquired and I am following up on the preparations being made to celebrate the life of Jackie and will keep you informed as details are confirmed.
