Description
Ercol Windsor Tall back easy armchair model 478.
This chair has been restored by stripping and sanding the older dark stain back to the original solid beech and elm grain.
It has been refinished in a hard wax oil.
The signature details are a steam bent frame with tall spindle back, gently curved sculptural armrests and tapered legs over a cross based underframe.
The seat and back cushion are in the original Sanderson cotton linen Jacobean style floral print fabric. Note: there are two small holes in the fabric of the seat cushion.
Original Ercol label still present.

Dimensions - 102cm T x 72xm W x 57cm overall depth, Seat Depth 45cm x 44cm Seat height.

Ercol was established over 100 years ago in 1920 by Italian designer Lucian R Ercolani in High Wycombe, the centre of English furniture making. He was intent on designing and producing relevant and honest furniture, design and people were the cornerstones of his company from the very beginning. This remains true of the company today, it remains family owned with Lucian’s great grandson heading up the business to continue his beliefs today.

Vintage colour from the 1950s. The palette was defined by optimistic post-war consumerism. It heavily featured pastel tones like mint green, pale pink, baby blue, and butter yellow, often balanced by rich, bold accents like tangerine orange, fuchsia pink, and cherry red paired with stark black and white.
This set of 5 Sprayware coloured glass mixing bowls with spouts is a prime example of the colours from that era. Although no makers mark these are possibly by Agee Pyrex Australia. Listed on Etsy or DM mean. Postager available.
Dimensions - Blk 12.5cm W x 6.5cmT, Green – 15cm w x 7.5cm T , yellow – 18cm W x 9cm T, Blue – 20.5cm W x 9.5cm T, Red – 23cm W x 11.5cmT
Condition - No chips ot cracks. Some slight paint loss and scratched ti the base of the red bowl.

Just bringing back some vintage rustic this week. Early college days in Wagga Wagga NSW, introduced to me OP shop clothing. Back then in the 1980s I was buying clothes for next to nothing, that were worn in the 1950s and 60s, which worked perfectly with my Rockabilly/Psychobilly look .
My amazing German aunt whose house was a 1950s time capsule helped me 'Acid Wash' my jeans, a look popularised by punk and skinhead cultures which I was proud to kinda be a part of.
My mother was always exceptionally smart and fashionable and I would say ahead of her time. She could wear a paper bag and look incredible. She introduced to me to the likes of Carla Zampatti, Peter Weiss and I also became an avid buyer of Follow Me Magazine.

Vintage 1960s sculptural all wool Herringbone pattern long coat by iconic British fashion brand Jaeger London established in 1884.
Colour a warm mustard with olive green threads and butterscotch plastic buttons.
Lined in an apricot satin.
Jaeger label sewn in neck.
In the 1960s Jaeger clothes were modelled by Jean Shrimpton .
Size - 10
104cm full length from collar.
44cm Wide shoulder to shoulder.

Condition - This item has been dry cleaned as is very good vintage condition. There are a few small holes to one area in the inside lining.

A vintage Mid Century Regency style painted and parcel gilt oval bevelled mirror.
Wood frame with concentric rings with tones of Gilt, warm cream and black.

Dimensions - 60cm T x 46 W x 3cm D
Condition - In good vintage condition. A spot of cream paint loss to left side and a small dent to gilt edge on left side.

Although not a Hen, this vintage concrete Swan planter is said to be as rare as "Hens teeth" and although the song is called Black Swan this is actually a white swan .

This gorgeous piece needs a home to make way for new stock. On sale $250
Vintage Art Deco charm with this up-cycled side board with mirrored shelf with glass sliding doors, three drawers with pull handles and three lower cupboards with key.
This piece has been brought back to life with carbon black paint and contrasting veneer.

Dimensions - 135cm Wide x 105cm Tall x 45cm Deep

Condition - A very good up-cycled piece. The original glass sliding doors have small chips to the edges.

Mid Century teak sideboard on tapered nordic style legs. Maker unknown.
A solid sturdy piece on that is slightly narrower than the average mid century sideboard, making it a perfect storage piece if you are tight on space.
Features
- Three drawers with distinctive recessed wooden handles with the top cutlery drawer felt lined.
- a two door cupboard with one internal shelf. Holes have been drilled out in the back to run electric cables.
- A drop front cupboard with one internal glass shelf.

I absolutely loved it. I wish at the tender age of 9 in 1975 I understood furniture design. Clearly furniture design resonated with me and here I am today in 2026! collecting and sharing furniture and decor from the last 100 years.
