Sweet News Guys! Thursday is now officially the start of our baking week 🎉

From tomorrow onwards every Thursday our ovens fire up with freshly baked scrolls, cookies and sweet treats, doors open at 9am and are available until sold out.

Tomorrow (this Friday the 6th of June), we’re making a flavour that’s a little special to us.

It’s my little brother Max’s birthday.

I don’t often share much about him here. Partly because I’ve never been very good at finding the right words, and partly because some things feel too important to put into a caption.

But the truth is, Max is one of the biggest reasons Coco & Bean exists.

Every year Mum made Max sticky date pudding for his birthday. It was his favourite. And even after he passed away, it became one of those little traditions that helped us remember him.

So this Friday, we’re turning that tradition into a cinnamon scroll.

A little boy named Max loved sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce, and his family love him deeply. Seventeen years later, we’re still celebrating his birthday.
