Saige N Thyme is heading to the Craft & Quilt Fair at the ICC in Darling Harbour, Sydney and I am Soo excited to be part of it this year!

The fair runs from 15th to 18th July and there is seriously so much happening across the four days for anyone who loves crafting, creating, learning and being inspired.

I’ll be running a few one-hour creative sessions plus my 2-hour Cricut for Beginners workshop!

During the Cricut class, we’ll create together and you’ll leave with your own personalised projects including a custom tote bag, tumbler and bookmark… plus some papercraft fun too!

Whether you’ve never touched a Cricut before, you’ve got one sitting in the box at home, or you just want to spend time creating this class is designed to be relaxed, beginner friendly and fun.

One of my favourite things is watching people go from ‘I don’t know if I can do this’ to ‘I actually made that!’

Bookings are now open through the Craft Fair website and I’ll share more details and booking links very soon.

PAINT YOUR OCEAN

A special small-group workshop with ERRATIC ALLY and Saige N Thyme inspired by the newly released children’s book, Grief Comes in Waves.

Children will enjoy a live reading of the book before creating their own ocean artwork, exploring emotions, imagination, colour, and creativity in a safe and supportive environment.

Every child will receive:

• A signed copy of Grief Comes in Waves
• Guided ocean painting workshop
• Exclusive ocean-themed goodie bag
• Their own artwork to take home

This is an intimate workshop experience, with numbers strictly capped to ensure every child receives individual support and encouragement throughout the session.

When you know one your sons bestie is a Pokémon fan… how could I not make a GIANT trading card?

Standing at a whopping 900mm high, this one was definitely one of those “why not?!” projects.

Every piece was laser cut, then hand painted and carefully glued together layer by layer. Safe to say this wasn’t a quick project, definitely a labour of love (and maybe a few moments of questioning my life choices).

Would this card be worth a legendary trade? I honestly have no idea… but the fun in creating it? Priceless.

Flaws? Yep.
Fun? Absolutely.
Would I make something ridiculous and oversized again? Also a yes haha

This is your reminder that creating doesn’t always have to be perfect, sometimes the best projects are the ones that make you smile while making them.

Three layers, one beautiful name, and a whole lot of meaning!

Creating this layered acrylic name sign for a beautiful girl’s birthday reminded me why I love what I do so much.

There’s something special about seeing a name come to life; carefully layered, designed with intention, and created to become part of a memory that lasts long after the candles are blown out.

A name is more than letters… it’s identity, love, excitement, milestones, and moments worth celebrating. Knowing this piece will be part of her special day and live on in photos and memories makes my heart so full!!!

The Quote Wall

One of my favourite parts of the workshop room at Saige N Thyme isn’t the machines, the materials, or even the projects… it’s the "quote wall".

Every word on that wall was chosen with intention; to inspire, encourage and remind you that creativity doesn’t need perfection… it just needs a beginning.

When you walk into this space, I want you to feel proud. Proud for showing up. Proud for trying something new. Proud for creating, even if it feels messy, imperfect, or outside your comfort zone.

Within these walls there’s no pressure to “get it right”. There's just room to learn, laugh, create and maybe surprise yourself along the way.
