A little honesty from me…

I’ve gotten to the point where I think I need some help.

Saige N Thyme is growing, which is something I am incredibly grateful for, but with that growth I’ve realised that the admin side of running a business is definitely not my forte.

I know one of the things people have always loved about Saige N Thyme is that I’ve been quick, easy to communicate with and able to turn orders around pretty fast.

And I also know some of you have noticed that lately, that hasn’t always been the case.

The truth is, I’m struggling to keep up with the ordering process, messages, invoices, creating, nursing, family life and everything else that happens behind the scenes.

I could pretend I’ve got it all together… but I don’t.

And I think part of growing a business is recognising when you can’t keep doing everything yourself.

So while I work out what the right kind of help looks like for Saige N Thyme, please don’t be afraid to reach out to me about your order. You are never annoying me by checking in.

I currently have a few beautiful orders waiting for collection, a few literally in the laser as I type this, and plenty more being worked through.

I’m still here. I’m still creating. And I still care just as much about every single order that comes through my door.

I just might need to accept that if Saige N Thyme is going to keep growing, I need a little help growing with it.

HONOURING HER GALA 2026

What an incredible night attending the Camden Womens Shelter's Honouring Her Gala 2026.

It was such a privilege to be in a room filled with people coming together for something that matters so deeply; supporting women and children in our community who need safety, hope and the opportunity to rebuild.

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing from Olympic medallist Melissa Wu. Listening to her speak so openly about her life, the challenges she has faced, the determination behind her incredible Olympic career, and navigating life beyond the Olympics was incredibly inspiring.

It was a beautiful reminder that behind every achievement is a story we often don’t see: the challenges, sacrifices, resilience and courage it takes to keep moving forward.

I feel incredibly honoured to have attended tonight and to support an organisation doing such important work right here in our community.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing the Honouring Her Gala 2026 together.

A night of powerful stories, connection, community and, most importantly, women supporting women.

Sometimes it’s not just about what I make; it’s about making sure you feel confident with it once it leaves my hands.

Cass from Eyesight Optometrist in Gledswood Hills ordered a custom business decal from me for an event they had this week.

She was a little nervous about applying such a large decal herself to their own backboard… and I completely get it! There’s nothing quite like standing there with a giant decal thinking, “Pleaseeee go on straight.”

So when Cass arrived to collect it, I had already cut another decal for my warehouse wall.

We turned pick-up into a quick little application lesson. I showed her how to prep, position and apply it, then let her have a go herself.

And she absolutely nailed it!

Because Saige N Thyme isn’t just about creating something, handing it over and saying, “Good luck!”

It’s about the finish AND the delivery.

It’s making sure what I create represents your business beautifully, but also making sure you walk away feeling supported and confident.

Whether I’m creating the whole piece for you or supplying decals for your own DIY project, I’m always happy to share the little tips and tricks that make the finished product look great.

5 YEARS OF SAIGE N THYME!

Five years. FIVE!

What started as a little idea has turned into five years of creating, learning, changing, growing and occasionally wondering what am I actually doing haha.

So, in honour of 5 years, here are 5 things business has taught me: the good, the bad and the very real.

1. Passion gets you started. Perseverance keeps you going.
There have been plenty of moments when giving up would have been easier. Sometimes success is simply choosing to show up again tomorrow.

2. Not everyone is your customer and that's okay.
I've learnt that saying no, knowing my worth and protecting my time is just as important as saying yes.

3. People remember how you make them feel.
The heart of Saige N Thyme has never just been the product. It's the story behind it. The names, milestones, memories and meaning.

4. Success doesn't always look like success.
Sometimes it's a full order book, sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's changing direction. Sometimes it's closing a door you desperately wanted to keep open. And sometimes it's surviving a really hard season and still being here.

5. Community is EVERYTHING.
Every order. Every recommendation. Every share. Every collaboration. Every person who says, "Sarahjane can make that!"
You have helped build this business too.

I've made mistakes.
I've undercharged.
I've overcommitted.
I've cried.
I've celebrated.
I've doubted myself.
I've changed direction.

And I've learnt more about myself in these five years than I ever expected.

But most importantly…

I'm still here.

Five years of creating things that mean something.
Five years of your stories becoming part of mine.
Five years of Saige N Thyme.
