We're counting down to TCXPO | Trading Card Expo! 🃏

This Saturday, HCA is heading to West Ryde with the bulk of our singles plus new sealed product that's exclusive to the expo — not available in-store. It's always a great morning catching up with the community and seeing what everyone's hunting for.

Fairfield stays open as normal with our regular locals running too, so there's a way to catch us either way.

📍 The Y Bennelong, 22 Winbourne Street, West Ryde
🕙 10:00am – 2:30pm, Saturday 3 October

Come down, have a browse, and say hello — we can't wait to see you there!

Out and about at CollectorCon in Penrith! 🎉 The HCA crew is checking out all the stalls, and a big shoutout to Deke Toys! 🧸

Not at the con? We're open TODAY, 10am to 5pm, at our Fairfield store for all your TCG cards and toy needs 🃏✨

Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! and more, plus Gundam and warhammer models.

What's the best thing you've spotted at CollectorCon so far? Tell us below! 👇

Every table full, every game going, and the energy in store tonight is exactly why we do this. 💛

Massive respect to everyone battling through the Pokémon League Cup Challenge and grinding out best-of-three Riftbound locals right now — plus our Magic crew holding it down as always. Congratulations to lur Pokemon League Cup Challenge and Riftbound locals winners tonight — well earned.

A reminder for anyone who hasn't played with us yet: no one goes home empty-handed at HCA. Everyone in Riftbound locals gets a Nexus Night pack, Top 8 get extra packs, and our winner takes home an extra booster on top of that. Every session also has lucky door prizing, so there's always a chance at more — plus the duck race, because prizing should still be fun.

Thank you to every regular, every new face, and everyone who's picked up a piece of the 30th Anniversary drop this week. This community is the whole reason Friday nights look like this.

Come be part of it — locals run every single Friday.

✨ POKÉMON 30TH CELEBRATION IS HERE ✨

The wait is over — the Pokémon 30th Celebration has landed at HCA and it's already causing chaos! 👀 Some absolute heat has been pulled in store already (swipe to see 🔥).

We'll be dropping stock in batches THROUGHOUT THE WEEK, so keep your eyes on our stories and posts — you don't want to miss a drop. 📅

🚨 THE RULES 🚨
🔹 Limit of 1 per household on general release — this keeps things fair and gives every collector a real shot, not just the scalpers
🔹 Our regulars get 2 — that's you if you're in store supporting us regularly, whether that's shopping with us or getting amongst our store play and local sessions 💙
🔹 In-store purchases only, while stock lasts

We built this policy so collectors get to actually collect, not so resellers can clean us out in five minutes. And to our regulars — thank you for continuing to show up and support the store, it means everything and it's why this extra bit exists for you. 🙏

Drops all week. Get amongst it. 🐾

Okay this pull has us buzzing 🥹✨

Opened a fresh GD04 booster on camera and out came GD04-050 Destiny Gundam (LR++) — an absolute chase card, and honestly one of the best pulls we've filmed in-store.

This is exactly why we love doing openings with the community — you never know what's in the pack until it's in your hands.

If you collect Gundam TCG, come say hi.
We've got GD04 stock on shelves and we'd love to open a pack with YOU next time 🙌

📍 Visit us at Hobby Collectors Australia, Fairfield NSW

Drop a 🔥 if you'd have flipped out pulling this one . . .

Sunday was an awesome day at Hobby Collectors Australia! 🎉

We hosted our 2026 Pokémon World Championships Celebration Tournament, and it did not disappoint. Every Trainer who battled walked away with an exclusive Worlds Celebration Pikachu promo card, and our division winners scored the special WINNER-stamped version plus a themed deck box and sleeves to celebrate. Take a look through the photos of our players and winners below!

On top of that, we had a great turnout of new faces jumping into our Riftbound and Magic: The Gathering locals for the first time, with some brilliant hits pulled in-store throughout the day too.

Days like this are exactly why we love running this store — new players, familiar faces, and everyone having a great time together. If you haven't tried out one of our locals yet, there's never been a better time. Come say hi, we'd love to have you at the table!

📍 Reminder: you'll find us at our new location, 2/20-26 Ware St, Fairfield NSW 2165 (just a couple doors down from our old spot!). We're open Monday to Friday 2pm–9pm, and Saturday & Sunday 10am–5pm.

🎉 NEW STORE! — WE'VE GROWN WITH YOU! 🎉

HCA fam, this one's big. Our new home is officially open at Shop 2, 20-26 Ware St, Fairfield NSW 2165, and it's been built for exactly what this community has become.

More space means more of everything you've been asking for:

🪑 Room for up to 70 players comfortably — no more squeezing in
⏰ Extended hours — Mon-Fri 2pm-9pm, Sat & Sun 10am-5pm
⚔️ Warhammer Kill Team and 40K are back, with dedicated table space
📅 A bigger weekly events calendar than ever before

Here's what's running week to week:

One Piece Locals — Wednesday & Saturday
Gundam Locals — Saturday
Dragon Ball Z Locals — Sunday
Magic: The Gathering — Thursday & Sunday
Warhammer (Kill Team & 40K) — Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Board Game Nights — Tuesday & Thursday
Riftbound Nexus Locals — Friday & Saturday

On top of that, our shelves have grown too — expanded Gundam model range, Bandai Pokémon models now in store, Star Wars models added, a third full shelf of Warhammer landing, and a wider range of board games than we've ever carried.

Bigger store, more tables, more product, more community. And we're not done — we'll keep adding as we grow.

Come check it out for yourself. We'd love to see you in the new space. 💛
