Nope - this is definitely not me.
The giveaway - apart from the fact that we look nothing alike - is the mug. Coffee is a daily lifeline for me, but the mug... ah, no.
I have a selection of lovely-to-hold-and-drink-from cups that offer a much preferred coffee experience.
The design template, though, I did create. About 3 hours ago, to be precise.
I’m on a mission to re-inspire myself *and you* to embrace more minimal designs.
Busy templates confuse our messaging and look not-quite-so professional, simply because there’s too much going on.
And even using my absolute FAVOURITE Canva tool, the LAYERS PANEL (my students are rolling their eyes reading this - I do say this a LOT. Because it’s REAL)... cluttered designs can also be a pain to edit and customise, and take ages.
So keep your eye out here - I’ll be demonstrating how much variety you can get from simple designs over the next weeks.
MAILING LIST IS GETTING THE TEMPLATES
And for people on my mailing list - check your inbox. I’m sending you the templates soon.

WHILE YOU’RE THERE…
While you’re on the website, have a look at 1-1 Session options. They’re for you if you’re running a business with projects that need to get done yesterday.
Done With You if you want to learn, Done For You if you’re over it and have other things to do with your time.
KIDS (6-12) BUILDING REAL TECH LITERACY AS THEY DESIGN
And if you have 6-12 year old kids, there are details about the kids Canva course which is WAY more about building valuable tech literacy than it is about making birthday party invitations. We do that too, but I sneak the real learning in as they’re creating fun projects.
Short lessons. Doesn't feel like school work. But gives your kids a massive head start in tech.
If you have any questions about 1-1 sessions or the Kids course - email me! [email protected]
Very happy to discuss. I check emails way more often than DMs.
