We are so excited to announce that the lovely Nicki Franklin will be in Sydney at TCG in early February 2027; the first stop on her Australian tour. Join Nicki at The Crewel Gobelin for a one day workshop on either Friday 5th or Saturday 6th February. There will be different projects each day, so come for one or both days! We will be opening registrations very soon, once we have finalised the finer details. Check your diary and be ready for a day or two of beautiful embroidery and a special time relaxing amongst friends.

Dutch Sewing and Mending Sampler. Workshop with Michelle Hudson, redwork band sampler, inspired by a vintage Dutch sewing and mending piece from the early 1900s. The sampler celebrates the quiet artistry of repair and the work of skilled hands. Intricate drawn-thread patterns, precise Holbein stitch, and a rich variety of pattern-darning motifs.

Our Schoolgirl Sewing Club Box #2 has been released and hopefully made its way to most participants by now. This box is a a gorgeous continental sampler, most likely Italian, lovingly reproduced by Vickie LoPiccolo Jennett. The colours are delightful on Fox And Rabbit Designs ‘Desert Taipan Linen’ and for a change there is not one alphabet! A big thank you to everyone who makes these boxes come alive. It takes a team, and many skill sets!! We hope everyone enjoys the ‘TS: Italian Sampler’.

Animal Crackers and more! Absolutely adore this collection from Stacy Nash Designs, they are so very cute. And in amongst all the critters there is a gorgeous pin cushion and little sewing basket. We know a few of our customers are desperate for Pip, Olive, Abigail and Sugar to complete their set!!
