To be recognised for the work we do, the systems we build and the clients whose entertainment dreams we fulfill is the reason we get up each day and get on with business.
Yes this is business but behind the business of creating amazing entertainment spaces are real people, my wife and partner Carmelina, our staff and our extended team of skilled professionals, Michael, Sacha and Nicola. We could not do what we do with out your efforts. Being part of the Krix family has given us direction and purpose, we are forever grateful to have discovered Australia’s best kept cinematic secret and will continue to promote this brand to the world because the world just needs to know that within this down under often forgotten country live some of the most talented humans on this crazy planet we call earth.

Customer Service in a Price-Driven World

Let's address the elephant in the room. Customers want the lowest price, immediate service and a perfect result, every time. But genuine service requires skilled people, time and enough margin to actually deliver it. (I am not putting all customers in this boat, but you know who you are) (and anyone in any retail sector has experienced this).

Somewhere along the way, an expectation developed that business owners should accept whatever conditions are handed to them. Customers dictate the price, discounts are assumed, and businesses are expected to surrender their margins with a smile, quietly, gratefully and without hesitation.
The moment we show any discomfort with that arrangement, or the smile slips even slightly, we’re labelled rude, accused of providing poor customer service and sometimes publicly punished simply for having a point of view about our own business.
That isn’t a reasonable service standard. It’s entitlement dressed up as customer expectation.
We’re also no longer living in a “yes sir, no sir” world, and that goes both ways. Good customer service doesn’t mean a business must agree to every demand, tolerate unreasonable behaviour or hand over whatever someone wants simply to avoid a bad review.
When people don’t get the answer they want, the reflex is often to go straight to social media. Sometimes before giving the business a genuine opportunity to explain or put things right. That isn’t always accountability. Sometimes it’s simply retaliation with an audience.
Businesses should absolutely own their mistakes. But customers also owe the conversation a fair go.
Not every inconvenience is mistreatment. Not every disagreement is poor service. Not every “no” is disrespectful. And not getting exactly what you want doesn’t make you a victim.
Sometimes the right response is to take a breath, regain some perspective, and toughen up a little.
Sometimes I feel like asking the world to stop, I want to get off.

I have been a true believer in the Krix OWX series since there release, we have now installed quite a few dedicated home cinema solutions using this versatile speaker and each time the results are stunning. The rest of the world is now discovering just holt amazing this (in relative terms) small Australian Speaker Manufacture is. If you want to know more about Kirx their rande of dedicated home cinema sneakers and their music line book in your personal tour on 80883088 you will not be disappointed.

Here is a great review, what is surprising (well not to us) is how good the dedicated home cinema speakers are for music. Just saying!

And all of a sudden we have a married daughter! How the F&*K did that happen. It’s been a whirlwind of a year, moving showrooms and wedding planes which have consumed our life, still trying to finalise the showroom but we can see the light. I just have to say how proud I am of my children of Carmelina and cant leave out Ruby, our kids have lived their life with their parents running a retail hifi / home cinema showroom and I am sure that at times it has been incredibly hard for them, the hours we work, the time away from home and the amazing sound systems we bring home.. I would not change anything about my family, and I would not change anything about my career choices. Music is the thread that binds us all, our lives are better because of it, we are all involved it in Jess her husband Garrett and my son Mattie all musicians, well Jess and Matt are, Garrett is a drummer 😎. The musicians that played at the reception were just amazing and the event was so much better because of their love of their art. Thank you to all our friends, partners and clients for their good wishes. Now, back to work..
