This is the kind of thing I keep thinking about for SKTNG.
Not because I want to build “a roller rink with screens”.
That would be a bit sad, really.
The bigger idea is a place where movement, creativity, sound, light, art and people all collide in real life.
A space where skating is the anchor, but not the limit.
Imagine a rink where your movement changes the room around you.
Where local artists can experiment with projection, light, music and motion.
Where kids, teens, families, skaters, designers, performers and curious people can step into something that feels alive.
Not passive entertainment.
Not just watching.
Not another screen asking for your attention.
A physical place where your presence matters.
That’s what excites me about SKTNG.
A roller rink, yes.
But also a creative playground.
A community venue.
A testing ground.
A place for humans to do weird, joyful, slightly wobbly things together.
No AI. No Algorithms. Just Humans on Roller Skates.
