Our friends (and family) live in the areas marked with red circles. Far enough away to be safe from this morning’s earthquake; but always in reach of other earthquakes and subsequent aftershocks and potential tsunamis.

Umabot sa 19 ang naitalang nasawi, 129 ang sugatan, at tinatayang mahigit ₱1 bilyon ang pinsalang iniwan ng malakas na magnitude 7.8 na na yumanig sa . Ilang gusali at imprastraktura ang napinsala, habang patuloy ang isinasagawang assessment at rescue operations ng mga awtoridad sa mga apektadong lugar.

Patuloy ang paalala sa publiko na manatiling alerto dahil sa posibleng aftershocks.
