Some Tambo connections are just too strong to resist! 🧸🤎

Camillia-Rose’s Dad lived in Tambo as a young boy, so of course a visit with family ties like that had to include a very special Tambo Teddy. 🥰

And what a beauty she chose — a gorgeous large cream Basil Bear! 🐻✨

A little piece of Tambo to take home, and perhaps the start of a whole new family tradition.

It was love at first cuddle for Lucinda at the EKKA! 🐑💕

She chose one of our gorgeous spotted Lambos and promptly gave her the perfect name — Nini. 🥰

We think Nini has found herself a very loving new home… and a best friend too!

🧸 Rob and Sandy could hardly hold back… 😂

They popped into Tambo this morning and met our lovely Sue at the Tambo Teddies shop — and somehow managed to leave with FOUR new travel companions! 🧸🧸🧸🧸

These lucky Tambo Teds are joining Rob and Sandy on their adventures before eventually settling into their loving new homes in Adelaide later this year. ❤️

Four bears in one visit… now that’s some serious teddy temptation! 😍

Safe travels Rob, Sandy and your very cuddly crew! 🚗🐻

People's Day at the EKKA!

✨ A little trip down memory lane... ✨

We were recently sent this gorgeous photo by Kerrie Richards from try – and what a wonderful blast from the past it is! 🥰

Back in the day, Merino Country and Tambo Teddies were both just getting started. Along with Charm, Mary and Helen, Kerrie spent countless days travelling to shows, field days and events across Queensland, proudly promoting Australian wool products.

Kerry thinks this photo was taken sometime between 1994 and 1996. It may have been at one of the very first Beef Week events in Rockhampton, where Merino Country and Tambo Teddies shared the foyer with our woolly creations. Or perhaps it was at a Sheep Show or Field Day in Blackall... Or maybe the EKKA!...the exact location may be a mystery, but the memories certainly aren't. ❤️

One thing Kerrie does remember? The teddy's name was Barnaby. 🐻

It's photos like these that remind us just how many miles have been travelled, friendships have been made, and stories have been shared over the past 40 years.
