Hello...

Yes it has been a while.

I am excited to be getting back into one of my happy places to create some old and new items...

There may even be some market stalls where you may just find me in the next few weeks /months.

A wonderful dinosaur 🦕 coat I was privileged enough to create.

I was asked to take a blanket that was a grandfathers and secretly turn it into a special coat for a grand daughter for her son to wear for a few winters.

The coat began its life as a blanket in a home in Tammin, WA, and after many, many years of use, it has now been reupurposed and traversed the world to be a coat in Ireland 🇮🇪.

Thankyou to the family for trusting me with this project. I am happy it has arrived and greatly received.

The result.

An Invicta Australian Wool Blanket now upcycled into a new coat. Kept the edging blanket stitching as a feature to the sleeves

Size 1 pixie pea coat headed to it's new little owner today.

The ‘BEACHCOMBERS’ were lovingly made by my friend A Nicholl In Time who I proudly chose for her care to detail and pride in her craft. She is a loving mother to some fine young men, devoted farmers wife and strong community member. I was lucky to have her care in creating these and can appreciate the time it took to bring the ‘BEACHCOMBER’ range to you 🐚

Collaboration with is making lovely patterns on my sewing table... almost completed for release..

Collaboration project is all ready for stitching.

6 Jackets and linings all cut out. Been a long process to this stage .
Using upcycled material can have some obstacles to work around..

One of these already has some fine beach sand embedded before the owner wears it beach combing soon...
