Great to see my pal Dom Turner rocking out at the 2025 Cronulla Blues and Jazz Festival and using his trusty Minson M8 pedal. I've done a few upgrades on it over the years. It still amazes me how much hard work these pedals endure and still keep going :)

I've been building guitar effects pedals for a while now. This is my latest one to leave the work bench - an M8. It will be making its way to Nashville next month. There is a ton of work involved but I take a lot of pride in my products and I get great enjoyment from seeing them put to good use. Built tough for Aussie conditions :)

I'm always thrilled when a seasoned pro musician like Phil Manning gets excited about my effects pedals. Phil recently purchased an M8 and he calls it the 'Minsonator' :) I've always tried to build a top quality product that is durable, simple to use and will deliver the tones that pro musicians expect. Phil is best known for his playing in Chain but he also a gifted artist and has his first opening at Marios Cafe next week. This pic was taken in Melbourne earlier this year.

I try to help musicians get the sound they're chasing with a tone that suits their style of playing. I caught up with Dom Turner recently and did an interesting mod to his old M8 Minson Custom Pedals. I fitted a second delay board (before the main delay) with a fixed 'slap' delay time and it works a treat. You can hear Dom's playing and my M8 multi effects pedal in action on The Backsliders latest album Bonecrunch.

So good to catch up with Judah Kelly over the weekend at the Tamworth Comes To Town festival at Rydges World Square in Sydney. Judah is using an M7 he bought from me at the Gympie Muster in 2017. They've both done a few miles since then and still going great :)
