Click your heels together people and smile! 👠 Yes we have Dorothy Gorden grevillas just arrived in stock.

Ironically they're down next to a whole cluster of Burgundy Queens all flush in colour. 👑

And another new species we have is Albany Woolly bush, yes, its soft and woolly. Australian native and very hardy. Plus a huge range of indoor and seedlings in stock.

The Chilli Legends just rode into town, cue Blazing Saddles theme.....🌶

Followed by the tomatoes and strawberry gang, with the herbs and onions posse close behind!🤠

They're all camped up out the back of the TGC shop, keeping an eye out for any varmints trying get into the shade house. 🏕🔥

Just to be clear, the seedlings table is full and a bit rambunctious as of this arvo.

That little lemon on the floor was not an accident. It was a decision. The tree ran the numbers — sugar moving through the branch, water pressure in the stem, light hitting the leaf above — and ranked every developing fruit against every other one. The weakest got cut. Not cruelly. Efficiently. Meyer lemons are one of the few plants that carry open flowers, fertilized flowers, and swelling fruit all at once, sometimes across three separate bloom cycles running simultaneously. That means the tree is constantly managing a budget it never stops revising. Indoors, with no bees visiting, an unpollinated flower lasts about a week before the tree quietly absorbs it back. What looks like failure from the outside is actually ruthless prioritization happening in real time. A single bee visit outdoors covers what a person would need to repeat across several days of careful hand-pollination just to get close. The tree is not falling apart. It is editing. Nature does not mourn the draft. It publishes the best version.

Some people will say you can't grow a vegetable garden in winter - in central QLd it's a wonderful time to grow. Less pests to annoy you and still huge harvests.
