You are invited to join me on Wednesday mornings (8:00-8:30 am) or afternoons (5:15-5:45) for simple meditation sessions. The meditations we will practice are short, mindful. The aim is to teach the art of simply stopping, breathing and being present in the moment. We live in a fast-paced world that wants us to be doing, doing, doing. It's almost as though stopping and sitting are a sin. Meditation and mindfulness teach us how to slow down for a bit and just appreciate the journey, rather than rushing to the destination. These sessions are being offered as part of the Tara Community Shed project and available to all members. Join me in the tranquil grounds of the Shed (located in Bilton Street at the old Scouts grounds).
