❤️ A little update from us…
This is a post we never really imagined we’d be writing.
After four incredible years, we’ve made the very difficult decision to close our little dream down.
What started with us opening the doors in Crookwell four years ago has grown, changed, moved and taken us on a journey we could never have imagined. Through every version of our little shop, we have poured so much of our heart and soul into it.
There have been long days, late nights, big ideas, plenty of laughs, a few tears, Christmas magic, beautiful products, wonderful customers and so many memories made along the way.
But the reality is, times are tough for small businesses right now.The cost of doing business continues to rise, while families everywhere are understandably having to think a little harder about where their money goes. Small businesses are feeling it too.
Running a small business takes an enormous amount of time, energy and heart — and eventually you have to look at what you’re giving up to keep it going.
For us, we’ve realised it’s time for a new chapter.
It’s time for more family time. ❤️
If there’s one thing we’d love people to take from our journey, it’s this: please support your local and small businesses whenever you can.
You don’t always have to spend a fortune. Buy the coffee. Pick up the gift locally. Share their Facebook post. Recommend them to a friend. Leave them a review. Those seemingly little things genuinely make a difference to the families behind small businesses.
To those of you who have been following us since we first opened our doors in Crookwell four years ago —thank you.And to everyone who has joined us somewhere along the way, thank you too.
You’ve watched our little dream grow and evolve, and we’re so incredibly grateful that you came along for the ride.
