It was so wonderful to have Cathy Jack Coupland back on the weekend for another inspiring workshop! 🪡🤩

We had loads of fun exploring the beautiful art of textural embroidery, learning about stitch density, layering, and appliqued beading. Projects took shape stitch by stitch, ribbon by ribbon, bead by bead, to eventually develop into truly stunning and individual works of art 👏🧵

A huge thank you to Cathy for once again sharing her talent, encouragement and passion throughout the weekend. And thank you also to the beautiful group of ladies who joined us. We love sharing our space with such enthusiastic kind humans 💚

Winding Road by Natalie Barnes for Windham Fabrics.

"My grandmother and her two daughters, were travelers, wanderers...lovers of life. They went to the World's Fair in Chicago. And spent time in Florida, finally making their way to California. They drew wildflowers in their cookbooks, and sketched their own maps. They made pretty dresses and wore men's summer shirts and walked barefoot through the woven grass. This line was inspired by my grandmother, Stephanie; and her two daughters, Norma Rose and Laura Marie." ~Natalie.

We couldn’t resist sharing this gorgeous piece created by our customer Rachel at the wonderful Lisa Mattock’s Wreath & Urn workshop back in June! 🪡💚

We love seeing how everyone takes the techniques they learn and adds their own personality to create something completely unique. Rachel’s finished piece is absolutely beautiful, with so many lovely details to discover.
