Introducing Handloom, the beautiful woven collection by Tara Faughnan for Windham Fabrics!

"Handloom is my first woven fabric collection with Windham Fabrics. I’ve always been drawn to fabrics that shift with the light and hold a little irregularity. Full of subtle textures, small slubs, and rich, layered colours that come together in a way only weaving can achieve. I designed this collection with makers in mind — fabrics that invite you to mix, match, and play — but they’re just as at home in garments, bags, and any project that calls for a little tactile joy. For me, weaving is a reminder that beauty is built thread by thread, colour by colour. Join us for a bag making workshop with Carole (aka “The Bag Lady”)! 🧵🪡
Thursday 23rd July, 9.30am-4pm.

The project for this workshop is By Annie's "Flipping Out" zippered case. These sturdy cases store pens and pencils, sewing tools, knitting needles, and more. When open, the cases convert into desktop stands by folding down their tops, allowing easier access and visibility of contents without sacrificing stability. Mesh pockets on the inside help organise supplies.

Cost: $55 - includes pattern. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. These days fill fast! Let us know if you'd like to join in on the fun!

What a wonderful weekend of slow stitching with Lisa Mattock🪡✨

It was a joy to see these beautiful projects come to life, each one unique and full of creativity. From the thoughtful placement of pieces to the delicate stitching details, every project reflected the maker behind it.

A heartfelt thank you to talented tutor Lisa Mattock for sharing her knowledge, inspiration and passion for slow stitching. And thank you to the lovely group of creative ladies who joined us and made the weekend so enjoyable. Your enthusiasm, laughter and creativity are what make these workshops so special 💚

We hope you enjoyed your stitching journey as much as we enjoyed hosting you. We can't wait to see how your beautiful Wreath & Urn projects continue to grow and evolve.

🧵 Designing with Bias Applique ~ a workshop with Wendy Nutt ✂️
🗓 Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August.

"Bias Appliqué is a technique with a playful nature. If you recall doodling to amuse yourself before social media was invented, let’s recreate those moments. Many lineal designs can be created with this technique. You will master how to cut, join, fold, create curves, turn corners, application techniques and quilting options."

The workshop fee of $220 also includes morning tea and lunch both days. A $110 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a seat.
