Sandnes Garn is here, and we couldn't be more excited.

We've brought in a range of patterns and yarns to cover all our bases across the spring and summer. Think Mandarine Petit, Line, and Tynn Line for garments; Duo for baby blankets and transitional pieces; and Cashmere for those luxury accessories.

Check, check, check it out.

A new-to-us bag from Re:Designed: Project 44.

This rectangular bag has a dual-zipper lid, a stable flat bottom, circular needle pockets, and a crossbody strap. I also love the little side handle. We got it in three classic colours: burned tan, walnut, and black.

I'd say this is the perfect size for a sweater, baby blanket, or large shawl. What do you think?

Laine Magazine Anniversary Issue

The first issue of Laine Magazine was published in 2016, and this year marks Laine’s 10th anniversary! Our special bookazine, Laine Anniversary Issue, features 23 knitwear patterns from international designers — designers who have contributed to Laine's journey over the last ten years. The bookazine is a celebration of Laine’s beloved Nordic aesthetics and contemporary knitwear design. Some patterns are fresh takes on classic Laine designs; others incorporate elements from the designers’ previous patterns for Laine; and the rest capture the spirit of Laine Magazine in their style.

Designers featured in this issue: Fiona Alice, Alma Bali, Aleks Byrd, Rachel Brockman, Weichien Chan, Maxim Cyr, Dee Hardwicke, Jonna Helin, Susanna Kaartinen, Bernice Lim, Justyna Lorkowska, Sari Nordlund, Marie Régnier, Tiia Reho, Camille Romano, Lis Smith, Orlane Sucche, Lene Tøsti, Maaike van Geijn, Sylvia Watts-Cherry and Julia Wilkens.

Nordic Textures in Crochet Garments

I'm obsessed with the patterns in this new crochet book.

Linda captures textures from her surroundings and translates them into 12 crochet sweaters and cardigans, offering each maker the opportunity to recreate and personalise them through their own materials, colours, and modifications. Her professionally written crochet patterns serve as the initial spark – seed designs – that ignite a creative chain reaction among fellow makers.

The crochet patterns in this book are intentionally designed for the intermediate and advanced maker – and for the adventurous knitter looking to cross over. For those who find joy in a challenge and beauty in precision.

This book is more than a collection of patterns. It’s a visual and tactile journey through the North – rich and deep. Filled with atmosphere, texture, and soul.

A quietly radical celebration of creativity.

The Willow Scarf

Sonja Rømer Sørensen has designed the Willow Scarf, an elegant scarf with fine, small cables that lend it a classic, refined feel. The scarf can be knitted in three sizes and in various yarn combinations.

This is a great pattern for trying out Isager's new Mulberry Silk.

The Shino Socks by Paula Pereira

From Amirisu's Sock Club book, these socks are knitted from the toe up, using Judy's Magic Cast-On for a standard toe and a short-row heel with adjustable foot length.

Isager Sock in colour 37 would be perfect for these. You then use a couple of metres of fi*****ng yarn for the flowers.

How cute!
