⚠️ Containment Feeding with an Auto Feeder — any brand — can be dangerous. Here's why and how Feedtech solved it. 👇

When an Auto Feeder operates it pulls feed from its source and drops it into the first trough. The feed builds up under the PVC and moves along to the next drop point until it reaches the cabinet end and hits the sensor or times out.

The problem? An animal standing at the silo end can be eating and eating while the feed is still travelling to the other end — receiving far too much grain before the system stops. That's a serious risk of acidosis.

That's exactly why we designed and farm tested our Feedtech Feed Control System.

Here's how it works:
🔩 Before the Auto Feeder turns on a set of Feed Control Flaps closes over the entire trough system
🔩 Once closed the Auto Feeder switches on and begins to fill
🔩 Animals line up along the trough
🔩 Once feed reaches the end the motor stops and the Flaps rise
🔩 Every animal — whether standing at the silo end or cabinet end — receives the same safe amount of feed ✅

The result? Safe, controlled, even feeding every single time.
