And that’s a wrap on the WA Road Trip — what an incredible week!

The final day started early with a trip out to the Boyup Brook region to catch up with a local sheep producer and talk through an exciting project — multiple Auto Feeders combined with an automated Batching System to feed over 7,500 head.

The day wrapped up perfectly with a lunch meeting in Busselton with Mike Cameron from planfarm.

David and Mike have been talking for over two years so it was brilliant to finally meet face to face. The plan from here — continue building the relationship and collaborate on developing Feedtech products for Planfarm clients and producers across WA. A really exciting partnership ahead!

And perhaps the biggest takeaway from the whole week came from Jason Trompf - Lambs Alive at the MLA Meat Up Forum in Northam:

Day Four of the WA Road Trip is done — and what a day!

Early out of Toodyay and straight into a full day of great catch ups across the south:

✅ Nyabing — A great visit with Allan & Sarah from Wiringa Park Merino and Poll Merino Stud— discussing their existing Feedtech Auto Feeder and an exciting new project coming up. More on that soon!

✅ Katanning — Caught up with the team at Burando Hill about the Nat Ag Drive Over Ramps — a product designed, engineered and manufactured by Trevaskis Engineering for National Ag. Great to showcase another quality Australian made product.

✅ Tambellup area — Some great stops and conversations along the way.

✅ Cranbrook — A brilliant finish to the day catching up with George from Gordon River Grazing who has just taken delivery of his Feedtech 57mt Auto Feeder and Batching System. Can’t wait to see it in action.

Day wrapped up perfectly with a cold beer and a great Parmi at the Cranbrook Hotel. 🍺

You can’t ask for more than that after a big day on the road!

What a Day Three on the WA Road Trip!

David & Michael spent the day at the MLA Meat Up Forum in Northam — and it didn’t disappoint. Great speakers, great topics and exactly the kind of industry day that gets you fired up.

Lunch brought some great pre-organised catch ups and the day wrapped up perfectly — good conversations over a beer and soft drink with some fantastic people.

Today the boys are heading south again with a packed day of farm visits:

Day Two of the WA Road Trip is in the books!

David & Michael kicked off in Albany before catching up with people in Kojonup and Williams on their way back up to Toodyay for the next two nights. 🐑

Today is another exciting one:
✅ Northam — attending the MLA Meat Up Forum — a great industry day ahead!
✅ Toodyay — drinks at the Victoria Hotel this evening

Yesterday was Day One of the WA Road Trip — wrapped up in Albany!

The rain followed David & Michael pretty much the whole way — Perth city to Toodyay and all the way down to Albany — which was fantastic.

Yesterday’s conversations covered:
🔩 Auto Feeders and Batching Systems
🔩 We looked at an exisiting mixing system and not with a lot of work or money it could become an automated mixing system — pulling from multiple silos to create a custom mix, all fully automated. Some great ideas flowing!

Today is an exciting one:
Meeting with a company about becoming the Feedtech WA Distributor — meaning less costs and better local support for WA farmers. Watch this space!

More farm visits throughout the day around Kojonup & Williams.

Then it’s back up north to Northam for the MLA Meat Up Forum tomorrow — thank goodness there are two of them to share the driving!
