The countdown is on for the My Big Fat Greek Festival at St Paraskevi Parish, St Albans.

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 35 years of our parish bringing faith, culture and community together. Glory to God for His countless blessings.

It also marks my fifth year as a stallholder for Zantiam. 🥰
I still remember setting up my very first stall here in 2022.

Since then, this festival has become so much more than an event to me. It’s a place where I reconnect with familiar faces, meet beautiful new people, and truly feel at home. I love you all. 🥰

If you’ve never been before, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the warmth of Greek hospitality, incredible food, live music, traditional dancing, family entertainment and the joy of our community coming together.

I’ve been a little quiet lately because I’ve been busy creating. 🤗🤍

I’ve also been working on something very close to my heart, a beautiful Memorial Kandili, created to honour the memory of our loved…coming soon.

This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to share everything else I’ve been working on.

Last night at 2AM, I was sitting working on this icon of our Sweet Mother of God. As I placed each little stone, I kept praying in my heart that whoever was meant to receive her would truly need her… and I hoped that she would bring them comfort, and peace 🤍

This morning, before I could even fully take her out of the packaging, a beautiful customer saw her and immediately fell in love.

She kept saying how sweet the Mother of God felt and how drawn she was to her… in that moment, I knew… this icon was always meant for her.
