🌸 OUR FIRST FLOWER BAR HIRE WAS A SUCCESS! 🌸

We’ve officially had our very first Flower Bar hire — and I’m SO excited to finally share it with you! 🥹💐

For this event, our lovely client hired our handwoven flower bar display and table, handmade by me, and turned it into a beautiful interactive experience for their guests.

And honestly… everyone had such an amazing time! 🤍

Guests got to choose their own blooms, get creative and make their own bouquet to take home. Making the flowers not just a decoration, but part of the experience.

And this is exactly why I created the Flower Bar! 🌷

🌼 So… what actually IS a Flower Bar?

Think of it like a little flower shop at your event!

We bring the beautiful display, set everything up, and your guests get to select their favourite flowers and create their own bouquet.

You can choose what you would like to hire, depending on the experience you’re wanting. We have the woven flower display and table, and can also provide additional items such as flowers, supplies, umbrellas and more.

For this particular event, they chose to hire just the flower display and table — but you can customise your experience to suit your event!

You choose what you would like to hire!

Please note that flowers are not included with the hire of the flower display alone. If you’d like flowers for your guests to make bouquets, the per-person flower package will need to be added.

The update is here! I wanted to explain it properly because I know some of you have been asking about flowers already (thank you!!) and there’s some big changes 🤍

🌺🌺🌺1. Gabby’s Flower Shop🌺🌺🌺

When I started Gabby’s Flower Shop, I honestly didn’t know where it would take me. What started as me making flowers grew into something I’m incredibly proud of. I’ve met so many lovely people, created flowers for some really special moments, watched people come back again and again, and built a little community around something that I genuinely love. And I’m so, so grateful for that 🥹🩷

I also knew from the beginning that being a full-time florist wasn’t what I wanted to do forever or even for very long. I’ve reached a point in my life where I’m moving towards some other goals that are really important to me.

I’m turning Gabby’s Flower Shop into a little pop-up flower shop. 🌷 I will no longer be taking regular flower orders or doing weekly flower sales. Instead, every now and then, I’ll decide to do a pop-up and I’ll let you all know when it’s happening!!

These might be:
🌸 A roadside flower sale
🌸 A special seasonal flower release
🌸 Mother’s Day flowers
🌸 Valentine’s Day flowers
🌸 Christmas wreaths or other seasonal projects
🌸 Random little flower days when I feel like making a whole lot of flowers again!

🥬🥬🥬2. Thornton Hutch + New Collaboration with Garden Gate Farm🥬🥬🥬

The Thornton Hutch is changing too! I’m now collaborating with one of my previous suppliers ‘Garden Gate Farm’, who will be using the Hutch for their own locally grown, PESTICIDE-FREE flowers and seasonal garden produce 🌽🥕🍓🌺

So, just to make it clear, the flowers and produce you see at the Thornton Hutch will generally be from Garden Gate Farm, not necessarily Gabby’s Flower Shop.

Keep an eye on the Garden Gate Farm page for updates on what’s available and when the Hutch is open. I’ll be posting more information on them and their story soon!

🥳🥳🥳3. Flower Bar & Event Hire Business Adventure🥳🥳🥳

Instead of me always being the person making the flowers for you, I want to create experiences where you can make the flowers yourself.

Think birthdays, hens parties, bridal showers, girls’ nights, celebrations, events and other special occasions where you can hire everything you need to have your own flower bar. 🌷

I’ve already been working on this behind the scenes for a few months and I’m really excited to start sharing more of it with you.

If you’ve ever bought one of my bouquets, stopped at the Hutch, shared one of my posts, recommended me to someone, sent me a message, told a friend about my flowers, or simply followed along… you’ve been part of this.

You helped turn a little idea into something real. Gabby’s Flower Shop isn’t disappearing. It’s just becoming something more intentional. And I’m really excited to see where this next chapter takes me and us!!

📣 Spring is almost here, big update for our beautiful flower lovers

Hello hello! It has been a while since I made any posts (or any flowers). Things were quiet over winter, and then unfortunately I have been having health issues, and I decided to take a step back. Now, spring is coming back around and it has been over a year since I started this page! So much has happened in this short time, and I want to keep that momentum going. I want to still honour this community you all have helped me build, but do so in a way that is sustainable for the direction my life is growing in 🌺

So there are changes happening in this space. Things this spring will be different to last spring, but that shows our growth together ☺️🌺🩷 I will be announcing and clearing up these changes very shortly. In the meantime thank you everyone reaching out recently, though I am not taking on any orders at this time. I can’t wait to grow this space further with you all. Thanks again for an amazing first year of my business!!! 🙏🙏🙏

Hello lovely people! A small little update as of late. I have been so quiet for a few reasons! Planning what the future of my little business is going to look like, going through a quiet period so not as many orders are coming through, and I have been unwell and struggling with some health issues! I love this community and am working hard (a little slow as I have a cold right now) to figure out the future of this beautiful business we have all created
