With a week of wet weather forecast why not come and visit and stock up on your indoor supplies. Clearance yarn is on sale for $1.50 per ball and we have lots of books, music, puzzles, games and craft supplies. Book in for lunch at the Travellers Rest Hotel or enjoy a visit to the Thorpdale Bakery while you are here.

Just a reminder that we are on Sale Storewide 25% on craft, books, music, bric a brac and all else. While I can’t discount the Consignment Goods I’m selling for our lovely Makers they are great value anyway. Drop in for a great bargain on already low prices. This week we also have some tubs of $1 per ball yarns on offer. I still have a full storage shed of yarn to empty so please drop in so I can make room to introduce new stock. We also have 50% off on Clearance Yarn and Clearance Fabrics and I’m adding more each week.

A short update on our weekend hours. We are closed Anzac Day (Saturday) but open normal hours today and Sunday. A day of thankfulness Lest We Forget.

I really need to make more room in the shop for stock that’s in storage so it’s Sale time. There is 25% off Storewide and 50% off Clearance Yarn, Dressmaking and Upholstery Fabrics. Includes all craft, books, DVD’s, clothing, quilting material, Bric a Brac and so much more. Consignment Goods are excepted as I don’t own those. Come and visit for some great bargains. Only available until I make enough room so don’t dilly dally.

Just an update on Easter Hours. Open today, closed tomorrow and then open Thursday through Sunday as normal next week, 10am until 4.00pm. This is the fantastic view from the shop that I see every day and never get tired of. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. A reminder that the Thorpdale Market is on again next Sunday the 12th of April so a great chance to visit. Have a great Easter with loved ones and stay safe on the road. Rebecca.

With the weather cooling to a beautiful dawdling temperature it’s a perfect time to spend a couple of hours in Thorpdale. Come on up and browse the great range of bric a brac, books, games, tools, music, shoes, clothing and linen. Check out the huge range of farm direct alpaca yarn and fibres as well as a great range of Australian Yarn Company and Fiddlesticks yarns. With a full haberdashery and thousands of metres of quilting, dressmaking and upholstery fabric, we really are the Store with More.

I hope everyone enjoyed the lovely rain we’ve had in the last few days. My garden is loving it. Time to get out of the house? The weather is going to be very comfortable over the next few days so it’s a good time to come out and visit us in Thorpdale. Come for craft or peruse our bric a brac and clothes. Lots of changes going on as we take advantage of the continued banishment of possums from the shop to the backyard and finally start sorting out the back room of the shop. Looking forward to seeing you all.

Looking for craft supplies, yarn and fabric that stand out from the usual large store options. Come and visit us in Thorpdale. We have buttons that you can buy in the quantity you want, not pre packed. Ribbon, lace, trims and cording by the meter. A huge range of notions. Ribbing by the metre in LOTS of colours. Quilting fabric starting at $14.95pm and most under $23.00pm. Dress fabric starts at $5.00pm and upholstery fabric starts at $10.00. Zips start at $1.00 each and yarn at $2.00 a ball. Tonnes more to look at and explore with a Bric a Brac New and Used section in addition to the full haberdashery. Add in a great bakery and the Traveller’s Rest Hotel for lunch and we are a complete destination. Looking forward to seeing all our familiar customers and lots of new faces we are open Thursday thru to Sunday 10.00am until 4.00pm.

Welcome to the New Year. I hope that you all had a restful break over the Holiday Period. Just letting you know that we have been working hard to keep putting out new stock and organise all those boxes. We have DVD’s, Records, Bric a Brac, Clothes, Baby Sets, Collectibles, Tools and a whole haberdashery with yarn, fabric, threads and all manner of notions. We have the Bakery and the Pub for lunch or a snack and this Saturday is the Mirboo North Market with Sunday the Thorpdale Market. Both are a lovely morning out and a great combination with a visit to us. Hope to see you soon.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Christmas Break. I hope you all get to enjoy time with loved ones and friends. Thank you for all your support over the last year. Small business is an endangered enterprise so you are all very valued. A special thankyou for Anne from Shady Creek Farm Retreat Disability Services and all of the helpers she’s brought me this year to brighten the day and create a busy hubbub in the shop.
