Do you encounter difficulties turning in one direction but not the other, or do you display a knock-kneed or A-frame stance, or perhaps a bow-legged stance? Our Align+ Alignment base boards are designed to help achieve a more neutral lower leg position within the upper cuff of your boots. This allows for a flat base of the boots, making edge-to-edge transitions significantly easier. As seen in the images provided, the skier's lower leg is pressed against the boot's shell, despite the use of custom insoles and an adjusted cuff. The issue was more pronounced in her left leg. After installing the Align base boards, her legs adopted a substantially improved position, with her knees now centered above the boot, facilitating smoother and more even edge transitions. Sue and I snagged a powder day today after 40 cm up top and 15 in the village. 5 chair up Kosi chair and no crowds. Great Thredbo day😁

Local Thredbo Ski School instructor Sarah came in to be fitted with new Custom insoles for her very red Rossignol ski boots.
Upon checking her cuff alignment we noticed Sarah's legs were presenting with a knock kneed or A framed stance.
We added our Align+ (+2 ) base boards and you can clearly see her improved stance. Sarah's centre of knee is now over the centre of the boot.
She now has flat skis and will find it much easier to transition from edge to edge, with much improved 2 ski carving.

Thredbo’s own music legend Mark Travers Mark Travers Music gets kitted out after 10 years in his old boots. Marks feet chose the new Tecnica Mach1 120, fitted with Sidas custom insoles and Align + Alignment system to insure his stance and alignment was spot on.
He also updated his old Elans with the new Wingman 86 CTi Black Edition.
