🌴 GAB TITUI 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION 🌴

One of many blessings this week for me was being able to connect with my people. Being able to learn and share experiences through art with each other and provide cultural knowledge. Passing on that knowledge to the next generation. 🌺

As a young artist myself, I look up to my mob, who is in the art & creativity industry, and how they tell stories through these creations. It's a blessing to be able to see and participate in these workshop stations while gaining knowledge, experience, and hearing cultural stories. Building and reconnecting with artists of all ages. ❤️

WORKSHOPS WILL BE ON AGAIN ON SATURDAY 20TH OF APRIL. PLEASE COME ALONG AND CHECK OUT THE TALENTED ON THESE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!

This is Timothy & Thomas. 🌺 They both have different passions, and we have learnt so much from them as well as teaching them. 🦖 Thomas loves to help out with making clay earrings, while Timothy loves everything to do with paint. I am blessed with these little people. ❤️✨️

I will be letting Thomas create some of his own designs of clay earrings under supervision. Any earrings we sell that he has made will be pocket money for him and his little brother. 🌴

This is my mother, Jasmine Williams & father Stanley Fujii. 🌺 They have given me the opportunity to branch out my business a bit more (physically) and are located in Weipa. Mum & dad have been selling our products locally in Weipa. 🦋 I've gained a lot of support, discipline, cultural knowledge, life skills, and more from the both of them. I am blessed to have such beautiful souls in my life.❤️✨️

This is my beautiful great-grandmother Emily Majid. 🌺 She is wearing her brand new shirt. I bought her today from pop-up stall at Gab Titui Cultural Centre on Thursday Island. 🌴 I learnt my beading and crochet skills from this beautiful woman. I am blessed to have her and to be able to learn so much from her. ❤️✨️
