Unfortunately we are unable to accept any donations for the next few days.
Since reopening after the Xmas break, we have been inundated. A lot of you must have had some serious clear outs 🤣
And…… some very kind person dumped about 10 very large black garbage bags totally full, in the doorway yesterday while we were closed, to add to the donations we are fast trying to unpack.
As we only have a little shop we literally have no room for any more bags or boxes until we get all of this unpacked and into stock.
We are so sorry for any inconvenience, if you can leave them in your boot for a few days that would be amazing.
You can help by popping in and buying some absolute bargains so we can free up room to make space for new things. 😍

Again…. despite the many signs both in front of the door and in the windows, someone has dumped items and hidden them behind the blackboard sign in the Op Shop doorway.
Plus there is a very large amount dumped at the back door, despite a sign out there as well. 🤯
It is really disheartening that people have no thought for the volunteers who have to come in and sort this out.
Three weeks, that’s all we ask, for the volunteers to have a break.
I am now having to come down daily to check, and dispose of rubbish.
PLEASE take your unwanted items to the tip shop, put them in your own bin, or if they are really good quality ask Ros if she could use them.

Despite a very respectful request on fb, a large sign in the doorway of the shop, and a sign in the window, someone has still chosen to ignore all of this and leave a pile of items in the doorway of the Op Shop.
You even moved the sign to do this.
The Op Shop is closed until the 19th January so how do you expect this is going to be dealt with.
The shop is run by volunteers only and it is extremely unfair to expect them to have to go in and deal with this.
Can we please ask the community to help out by calling out those you see dumping things at the door.
And remember this is effectively illegal dumping and the police station is just over the road.

The Op Shop will be taking a break over the Xmas/New Year period.
We will be closing at 2pm on Wed 24 Dec and reopening on Mon 19 Jan.

Please do not leave any donations outside the shop, front or back, during this period as there will be no one to put them inside. You can drop off any items to the Tip Shop or contact Toodyay Locals Care to see if they can use them.

We will be open this Sunday 21Dec from 9am til 1pm.
If you need any extra glasses, plates or serving dishes for Xmas call in and see what we have to offer. Don’t buy new just for one day.

It’s nearly Christmas 😍🧑‍🎄
I hope you have all had a little peek at our elves who have taken over the front window. My favourite is the rock climber.
With Xmas approaching fast, that comes with the clean out of “stuff” to get ready for the “new stuff”coming from Santa.
Whilst we love all of your very generous donations, and this is what keeps the wheels turning for us to give back, we have a little request that we ask you all to keep in mind.
We only have a little shop, with no overflow storage space. When bringing in your very kind donations it would be hugely appreciated if items are all ready for sale, ie; clean, undamaged and usable. That way we can put them straight out for sale and ensure someone will love your items.
We also ask that, if possible, you bring in only a few bags at a time. We unpack fast but sometimes we just don’t have the space for everything all at once. This time of the year gets really busy and our ladies would be hugely appreciative of your consideration with these requests at this time.
