Getting Ready for Toogoolawah’s Annual Market Day on Saturday 5 September…
First use lovely plump truss tomatoes, then add home grown white onions, stir, season, add secret ingredients, mix, reduce …to create Picnic Society’s top selling Old Fashioned Tomato Relish.

5 batches all ready to label and offer at Picnic Society’s market stall at the markets. And that’s just one of example, we have dozens of flavours of gourmet jams, relishes and pickles - lovingly hand stirred and made locally.
See you at the History Museum precinct in Cressbrook Street on Saturday week.

One Sleep to Go!
See you again at the Esk Garden Fair on Saturday. We’ll have fresh mini quiches, mini croissants as well as fresh hand made pasties. Our yoghurt granola cups and fresh fruit salad cups were such a hit last year that we’ve put them on the menu again.

Yippee - Steve made his famous Persian Love Cake this morning. Roll up to our Toogoolawah shop for beautiful fresh Danish pastries, country cakes, handmade sausage rolls and hand stirred relishes and jams.

Picnic Society will open at 11am tomorrow ANZAC Day and close later at 3pm. This is out of respect for our fallen - and the brave men and women who serve in our military. We will see you at the dawn service in Toogoolawah - just one of many such services throughout the Somerset Region.
