Green Dandelion Green Dandelion and The Paperback Archaeologist - curators of vintage books, comics and collectable finds đź’š For the love of preloved - Live Sustainably đź’š

Since starting work as a Professional Organiser in 2021, Green Dandelion has changed focus from the retail of ecowares, to the “rehoming” of dormant household goods. Whilst we are still passionate about reducing plastic waste and advocating for the demise of single use plastics, we have witnessed first hand the sheer volume of unused and unloved items sitting in homes collecting dust, creating clu

tter, and becoming an added source of overwhelm! We are currently working to establish relationships with local charities, not for profits, NGO’s, and op shops to establish their specific needs for donation, so that dormant goods are “rehomed” appropriately, (by us and you!), and not sent to landfill! Your average charity is overwhelmed by the volume of donations received daily, so our mission is to try to find a better way. With this in mind, The Paperback Archaeologist and Green Dandelion have partnered to collect and curate the most collectable of the items we find. Rare books, comics, collectors cards, etc for The Paperback Archaeologist, and little vintage finds and some preloved clothing for Green Dandelion. You will find us at vintage markets, book fairs, and comic-geddon from time to time. Our collections each have their own stories that we love to share as we give them the opportunity for another life of renewed value and purpose in a new home. We believe they are a little bit special and keep on giving joy to whoever has the privilege of owning them.

There’s nothing like some exciting news to rouse us to post on our socials! The Paperback Archaeologist has joined the collaborative at Simply Daughters, the most delightful vintage store you will ever find, located in the old general store at Ma Ma Creek in our beautiful Lockyer Valley.

Choc-a-bloc full of vintage kitchenalia, fancy china and glassware, linens, lamps, tools, furniture (and now books!!), the store opens for the year this Friday 20 February. So if you feel like a trip down memory lane, this is the destination for you!

Enjoy a chat with the lovely owners Simone and Dion, (and family), succumb to a scrumptious home made treat and a cuppa, and lose track of time browsing the collection or perusing a book (chair provided!!).

We will be there on a monthly Sunday (we will post the dates as they come up) and would love to meet you. For more information on Simply Daughters, you can find us at the Toowoomba Farmers Market every Saturday.
