I believe one of the greatest gifts we can give children is the chance to fall in love with the natural world.

To notice the birds. Pick up the feathers. Turn over the rocks. Ask questions. Get muddy. And then carry that curiosity into their play.

Because how can we expect the next generation to protect something they've never had the chance to know and love?

It doesn't have to be a grand adventure. Sometimes it starts with simply stopping to notice a bird... and letting that moment inspire what comes next.

Connection comes first. Caring follows. And one day, perhaps, protecting it will too.
