🐝 Bee on the lookout !!!! 🐝

The Royal Australian Mint will Bee releasing a special coin tomorrow.

The coin celebrates the mighty honey bee that populates Australia, producing delicious honey and contributing to the country’s agricultural success by pollinating crops. This year marks the bicentenary of Australia’s honey bee industry, with the coin commemorating both the remarkable creatures and their conscientious beekeepers. Produced by the Royal Australian Mint and the Australian Honey Bee Industry Council, the intricately-designed and delightfully bright coin celebrates the worker bee in us all.

The colourful $2 coin will be available in circulation this year and a collectible version will be available for purchase from the Royal Australian Mint from 8.30am AEST tomorrow.

Our honey is sold in its purest from ( just as mother nature intended ) which is unrefined, unheated and not heavily strained meaning it can retain pollen and other pure elements ( propolis and wax ) naturally found in honey. Honey is full of healthy benefits honey is known for as it preserves all the natural nutrients, enzymes and powerful antioxidants that raw honey contains.

You may find that most supermarket brands will heat treat their honey so it stays a runny consistency most of its shelf life however doing this can destroy the elements that make raw honey so beneficial to us. As our honey is UNPROCESSED and NOT heat treated, it will crystallize over time ( especially in the colder months ). This is a normal process honey goes through. To liquefy it again simply put the bottle in some warm water or direct sunlight.

Honey can very greatly in colour, flavour and consistency depending on the kind of blossoms from which the bees have gathered their nectar. Therefore our honey is multi-flora and subject to the seasonal variances in the broad range of flora found in and around the Toowoomba region.

Honey is guaranteed to be free from any chemical additives and preservatives. Only natural beekeeping methods are used. Our honey is all hand harvested and packed.
