Hello everyone. I can't belive it's been over 6 months since we closed metiisto. Magda and myself have both settled into new jobs and I have been busy closing the business and selling of equipment.

To wrap things up, we still have a few things that need to go asap.

We have
Lots of cocoa beans. These are all for sale at prices under current market prices. Whole bags and bulk only.

Fully restored 3 roll mill. All new bearings, seals fully restored, and precision ground rollers to under 2 microns

Knobel depositor. Converted from hydraulic to plc and servo control.

It's time for us to pass on the news that at Christmas this year, Metiisto is closing for good.

I am not sure how to truly express the amount of hours, passion, learning, and love that I have put into this company since I began it in 2012 but I can say that it has never returned me or my family a fraction of what was invested.
The time has come to put metiisto to rest so we can focus more on ourselves and our family.

Metiisto was always about trying to create the finest chocolate we possibly could. We could have done things differently to make a more financially viable business, but it would all have meant going against what we believe in.

To all the people that have supported us over the years, We say a massive thank you. We would have never made it this far without you all.

We are doing our best to make what chocolate we can in our spare time and will let you all the exact closing dates.

Dear friends in chocolate. We have decided to close the factory shop for the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately, the flu is upon us and for everyone's safety we decided to close the shop this week. We will be open as usual next week. Wednesday to Friday 10am to 2.30pm.

After 12 years of making chocolate and starting a factory in two countries, we have decided to put Metiisto up for sale. We have done some amazing and fun things over the last 11 years and accomplished more than we ever dreamed possible.

Metiisto has been in my life for so long now, and it will always be hard to say goodbye, but life changes, and our family remains the most important thing. I was offered a new job last year that was impossible to pass up.
Since the end of 2022 I have been running metiisto part time, and now It's time for us to step down and for someone else to take the business to the next level.

Metiisto has always been about the highest quality chocolate and transparency. We are currently the most awarded chocolate brand in Australia, and it's something we would love to see live on.

We are open today (Wednesday) until 4pm and tomorrow (Thursday) between 10am and 4pm.

Last days of Easter shopping are upon us. We are open this week Monday to Thursday 10am to 4pm.

As for post orders, the cut off date for guaranteed delivery before Easter expired yesterday. All orders placed this week will be shipped on Tuesday and any orders placed after Tuesday noon will be shipped after Easter. Thank you 😊
