Exciting opportunity for a Senior Makeup Artist/Beauty Advisor at Luminosa. As our space expands we are looking to grow our team and are looking for the perfect fit to join the Lumi family. The perfect applicant is someone that wants to grow within the business and that wants to continually better themselves both personally and professionally.

Our aim at Luminosa is to not make people look good but to make them feel amazing – we have a diverse range of clientele and need someone that shows kindness and compassion with strong customer service skills and the ability to make everyone feel comfortable the moment they walk in the door.

While full training is provided basic qualifications in makeup are a must and a plus if you have additional quals in tanning, facial tinting and waxing etc. – if you are currently studying but feel you have the skills required to fulfill this role we still encourage you to apply.

We have an extensive retail range and provide great benefits and discounts so you can live and breathe our product ranges and share your product knowledge on first hand to our salon guests.

Our Foundation Bar is exclusive to us in Toowoomba as well as our brand new Insider Session space meaning you will get to provide services out of the normal realm of a standard makeup or retail position.

We do our best to create a fun working environment with a focus on creating a healthy work life balance. We have a supportive team environment while we do work towards set goals and kpis individually it is the strength of the team that allows us to achieve set tasks by working together.

• Must be confident using a range of social media platforms, providing quality photos and videos and the ability to talk clearly and concisely on camera. A plus if you have the ability to navigate easily and quickly through basic computer systems, back-end website and write marketing content such as blog posts and EDM’s.
• Must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. Must be able to use initiative to get tasks done even when not prompted to do so.
• Must be willing to carry through with simple salon tasks effectively and quickly such as cleaning and a high level of sanitization practices are crucial.
• Must be well presented, on trend and be able to adhere to our branding and personal grooming guidelines.
• Must have current drivers license/own car and be able to travel solo to jobs if required i.e. weddings or commercial bookings.
• Must be available Thursday evenings and Saturdays and be able to work to rostering changes as per the business needs and requirements
