Evening all I hope everyone had a great public holiday and got some good time in the garden!
As technology improves and advances in our lives I just wanted to say that we here at Sungrown believe in portraying what we do as accurately and authentically as we can and therefore want to make it clear that we do not use any for of AI to improve our images, we don’t manipulate our plants look or appear different in any way. Our faces are our faces, our plants are our plants and our nursery is our nursery.

I have sadly seen this becoming common place from nurseries around Australia and I believe it’s completely unnecessary and sad to see people, landscapes and plants being posted as inspiration or what the nurseries are offering their customers being either significantly altered or completely AI generated. We work in a beautiful industry filled with colour and beauty at every turn, the need to artificially increase that is beyond unnecessary and simply deceiving people into what is achievable in their gardens.

So we declare this an AI free space, and my promise to you is if for some reason there is need for us to use it, we will be extremely clear if and when we use it.

Lotus berthelotii is a standout ornamental for cool to mild climates, valued for its finely textured foliage and striking flame-like flowers that appear in spring.

Ideal for hanging baskets, pot planting, or spilling over retaining walls, it adds soft contrast and movement to garden designs. It's low-maintenance once established, drought-tolerant, and attractive to pollinators too.

Visit https://www.aboutthegarden.com.au to read more about Lotus berthelotii on page 8 of our spring magazine 🌱
